    I hadn't thought of putting items inside the roll. Good idea, especially some food.

    Fandabi Dozi has talked bedrolls and trekking/survival in this period as well, though in the context of the Scottish Highlands. It would be cool to see you guys work together! I've been enjoying your channel.

      That could maibey be a possibility once the channal has grown a bit and if we have the budget for trips like that and stuff.
      That might take some time , but would be verry intetesting.

    Seems spot on to me. Might fire-starter equipment be included in the bedroll kit as well perhaps?

      It could have been, very wel so.
      This video was mostly ment to explore the concept of the bedrole within our time period.
      In our video on a soldiers personal equipment we take alook at Tom's interpretation of a bedroll.

    looks like tying enough rope on a bed roll to use for shelter is universal. I tie it a different way every time.
