Hi i'm working on a 2003 ml350 after checking my fiberoptic ends i have no red flashing light on the end that goes in the back of the radio i bypassed the changer and box under the passenger seat and no flashing leads where do i look first
Where can i get fibor optic coupler like you have in the video. I have the same problem thier is no sound but once in a while the sound comes through but once i start driving the sound goes away .
Now I'm 99 percent sure you are going to fix my problem. I replace an stereo on cayenne 04 with fiber optical. And I have no sound. I have to bypass the cd changer. I'm going to use either one. A loop or the coupler. Let s see how it goes
Hi, Need help. I figured out that the optical connector to the radio does not blink, should i replace it just the connector? If so do i replace it with the clip you show in the video, as im confused how it connects back to the radio
I had to unplug the Tele/sos under passenger seat because it had a draw and would cause my battery to go dead...so is this the problem of no sound coming from my radio? Will the fiber optic bypass work for this issue?

Okay so my radio had no sound commandment if it'll send it there was no CD player installed I checked the fiber optic cable to the back of the stereo those both were signed Sarah and the cable to tell link was fine I got to HD changer and CD changer blinked but the red light on the cable is plugged into it did not make so I got the coupler and I put it on that cord the one plugged into the CD player we should and then tried stereo and still no sound so what am I doing wrong or what am I missing

turning on the actual head unit is has a security lock out code for theft prevention it only comes in play when power is removed from the stereo then restored. it should be somewhere in the cars manual.
pull the stereo and check all connections in the back. if no issues then take it to a shop that deals with audio because an in depth power line check will be needed.

Yeah. The Bose system uses 2ohms your new head unit uses 4-8 ohms. You need an wiring harness or new Amp to drive 2 ohms
