I would definitely recommend looking at the 2021 model year or newer for the Revel, that’s when they made the switch to Lithium batteries and moved the batteries and water tanks inside of the vehicle to make it more viable in colder temperatures

Thanks for the recommendation. I’ve been looking at the Storytellers now due to the Revel passenger seat being so poor. Any experience with those vans?

@@squaredawayeveryday well, if you mean the seat behind the drivers seat, I actually think the “groove lounge” in the story teller is way more uncomfortable than the lounge seat in the Revel. And the different adjustment options in the Storyteller groove lounge felt way less usable than I expected them to.
But it’s all just preference stuff. Storyteller is an open concept with a questionable bathroom / shower situation. The Revel is a compartmented design with an unquestionably small, dedicated bathroom / shower.
I will say the Volta system, which the Storyteller has, is far and away the best power system to have in a van.

If you thought the Tesla X plaid was the worst purchase you have made due to depreciation, just wait until you try to sell a Winnebago… after you are fed up with the maintenance issues.

I don't understand Sprinter vans in the slightest. New ones can cost upwards of 150k. For that kind of money i would buy a new truck and a super nice 5th wheel and have the best of both worlds. And be able to use the truck for whatever on the side. The concept of having a vehicle where you have the ability to spend the night in a parking lot is not alluring to me at all. because of all the hipsters and tiny home people these kinds of rvs have never been more expensive.

Or you live in a neighborhood like me where stupid HOAs don’t allow trailers. We ended up with a revel and couldn’t be happier! Daily driver + weekend trips 🙌🏼
