Great video! I haven't been there in 19 agonizing years! Cinnamon Bay is my favorite beach. Looks like they have built actual rooms to replace the shed roof and screened in units.
Thanks. We really love it there as well. Spent some early years 1987-1991 visiting often since we lived in St. Croix at that time. Actually stayed in a Cinnamon Bay Cabin once. Most recent 2019 and 2022. Like to make it a yearly thing. Yes they replaced the old tent/Cabins with the structures shown. We didn't get any closer than on the beach in front of them. The facility actually looks really nice rebuilt and has a nice event building. Thanks again.
Very nice footage. Glad to see the island is mostly coming back. Still some bad beach erosion and coral bleaching but oh well. Still one of the prettiest spots on earth.
Sorry but we STAYED in Peter Bay which is NOT a National Park but gated residential. Be happy to share image of me with drone returning or taking off if you really need to see that. I promised owner of home I wouldn't show the house. Look into rentals there if you like. A bit more than a Mini 3 Pro. The real early ones were around 5:30am sitting on deck having coffee. Sunrise that week was a bit before 6am. St. John and the National Park is a great place to visit with some great beaches and amazing scenery.
@@ToddsDrones Just checked again and all National Parks are considered no fly zone regardless of launch point. Goin to St John late October and was thinking about taking my Mini SE but my luck I would get busted launching from the beach.
@@johnh383 The breeze is fairly strong and constant enough you will want to be careful with the Mini SE wandering too far off shore. I would not want to fly my Mini (1st gen) last time I was there. Would have been blown out to sea for sure. Good luck.

Time to go back. Stay out of the Porsche 917- driving fast is a very dangerous hobby!
Awesome video! What a beautiful island. The mini 3 pro makes amazing quality vids for such a small drone, travel capability is super good. Love st.j .
Love St. John and the little Mini 3 Pro. Thanks!
Nice aerial view with drone! This video gives me a good experience as if I were flying over there! Appreciate sharing your good work!
Thanks so much. I really enjoyed looking at your channel and subscribed. Awesome work.

Thanks for sharing.
Where did you launch from?
Launched from a private residence. No launching or landing in National Parks allowed. You can fly over them.
