Colin Beuken is right. The Humber Sceptre was a smaller car altogether. The Super Snipe was a well established name for the car at the top of Humber's range.
The Imperial was a Super Snipe with addition luxury fittings.
Super Snipe ! It is a lovely car. I have a 1961 Humber Hawk Series II. Not bland and boring cars to me.
