These are things I’ve been doing for years, especially riding in silence. Even when I was if the world, I would always ride in silence, so trust me, it’s quite therapeutic!! Everyday I am amazed by how much God is with us even in the times where we don’t think so! This was so good and thank you for sharing! I want to say Amen and thank you for being a vessel. I'm dealing with something right now that God told me months ago that he's got it and to leave it alone. Apparently, I feel like God aint working fast enough, so I take it upon myself last night to try and move the process along while moving it further back. God, Im listening, but it's so hard when it's your child. I was looking for a Nursing video, and this popped up while I was scrolling. That's how God works❤.
It's definitely hard to release control but God is faithful and sovereign. He can do way more when we rest.
For me Nature is the best place to be still and to be with God and to feel close to God❤no better conection than that❤

You brought up an interesting point about taking a moment (or a few) to sit and really listen to God. We (myself included) pray and then end the prayer, when we should at least take a moment to be quiet and listen to anything God has to say to us. Prayer isn't a one side conversation. It's not just you talking him and that's it. You pray to him and he response back, in multiple ways. I'll definitely try to practice listening and silence in my prayers. Thank you so much for blessing me with this realization! As always, Kylia with the amazing timing lol. I really like how you did a little recap of your tips on the light blue slide at the end the video! I'd like it if you continue to do that at the end of these kinds videos because sometimes you give me so much new knowledge that it's a little tough to pause and take notes of everything.

Be patient, prepare yourself to receive His answer, remove distractions, question if He already gave you the answer but you didn’t realize, ask for confirmation and so many other factors to consider.

@nancyelmon4544 Try setting aside a certain amount to read each day, just a little at a time. Maybe read a few chapters (or whatever you can handle) a day. Also I think more modern versions and Bible study guides may help.
WHILE DOING MY PRAYERS TODAY I TOOK A BREAK TO WATCH TEACHINGS FROM STEPHANIE IKE BUT INSTEAD I SAW THIS VIDEO AND I OPENED IT, I DID NOT WATCH THIS COMPLETELY I RAN TO PLAY THE SONG BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD BY PETERSON OKOPI AND PRAYED SILENTLY THAT GOD HEARS ME AND SPEAK TO ME FOR THE PAST FEW DAYS THAT HAS BEEN MY PRAYER POINT.
WHILE LISTENING TO THE SONG I TURNED IT OFF AND WAS WAITING SILENTLY AND I SLEPT 😢
WHILE SLEEPING I BECAME HALF AWAKE AND I HEARD IN MY SPIRIT ISAIAH 40, I DID NOT EVEN KNOW BEFORE NOW THAT ISAIAH HAVE 40 😭😭 IMMEDIATELY I WOKE UP AND OPENED IT, TODAY IS THE SECOND DAY OF MY ESTHER FAST AND SO I WAS STILL IN THE MOOD OF PRAYER AND MY BIBLE RIGHT BY MY SIDE. IMMEDIATELY I SAW THE FIRST AND SECOND VERSE I JUST KNEW 😭😭 I JUST KNEW THAT IT WAS GOD

All the things you said are so true. I have been thinking in my spirit that my entertainment sometimes are more important then becoming more and more closer to God. Even though I pray everyday I still feel in my spirit I can give God more. I owe him more. He deserves more. Like the word says, Be still and know that I am God. Amen. Heavenly Father, only you know the burdens I face. As a single mom I’m struggling to make ends meet. Lord give me strength to get through each day. Both of my sons are special needs and require much from me. It’s difficult to raise children alone. BUT I keep faith Lord Jesus. Even as I struggle to pay rent and as I struggle to buy groceries for my children. Jesus deliver me. I know that God will provide he has this far.💕
