I knew it was God speaking when he said “thirst for righteousness” then I asked how and he said “you reflect on the word I give you”which was Romans 12 😭 and it’s like after that he just been speaking so much now 😭🙏 and I’m happy because I waited so long for this moment 😆 all it took was to fast from TikTok 😭

I only work one day a week so im available alot and spend time with God, ive spent time listening trying to hear Gods voice directly. Ive been praying and asking God for clarity and direction and revelation about my life. God speaks to me through others and through His Word, but i desire to hear God directly in my quiet time when im listening for His voice and throughout my day, i talk to God every day and would love to hear Him speak back to me
Lord hear my prayers. I’m struggling providing for my children it’s been years now. I have faith I know you Jesus will get me through this I just have to keep faith. I have two beautiful boys both have special needs. I’m overwhelmed because they require so much from me every month is a struggle to not end up on the streets. Lord restore my faith. Because I know my mum’s voice. “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand” John 10:27-28. What I have learnt is that you have to invite GOD to speak to you. For example, the other day my son lost the tv remote & he kept asking me where it was. So we checked in all places where we thought it would be but we couldn’t find it. Then my spirit told me “ ask the Holy Spirit”. So, I asked the Holy Spirit by saying, Holy Spirit, where is this remote?” I kid you not, he answered, check the toy tub, and there it was, at the bottom of the toy tub. After that the Holy Spirit told me, I am always here. You just have to invite me in your day to day. This is beautiful ❤️. Thanks Kylia 🙌🏾. May God bless you.
This is true and I keep hearing the same messages about this and about seating in silence to hear the voice of God and be with God. Recently my co worker told me to read Matthew 6:33 and I have read it so many times just not recalling it. All your saying it true.
I’ve been becoming a little frustrated because I felt like it was becoming harder to hear God’s voice lately. But now I know it’s only because I ignored and dismissed what he last spoke to me. This video helped me a lot! Thank you. ☺️
I been feeling anxious all day and really had no reason to be, I finally just settled and I came to TH-cam and seen this, I needed this in this moment I been having a hard time with trying to understand what God wants me to do I been praying, reading my bible and fasting maybe I'm not still enough to actually hear Him.

Sis! The Lord is definitely using you! I've been struggling with what I believed that I wasn't hearing God's voice, for a long time, but everything you said was right on point. God began bringing things up that I'd been doing, or that we'd talked about before, or something my sister said to me as a new believer a long while ago. I discovered that I'd gotten too busy. Yes, I' d set set some time aside, for some Quiet Time, and oftentimes I'd get distracted by news articles it something else that was going on even when I would put my phone on silent. I'm definitely guilty of hearing something I didn't want to hear and dismissing it. Thank you for this video and the book. Thank you for being obedient to God and sharing steps to hear Him more clearly. I am on a new journey to begin hearing Him better, and just an overall better experience with Him. I'd often wonder why I wasn't hearing from Him as I should, I'd heard from Him before, I am His daughter and I believe and have faith in HIm, but I've realized several things because of your video! Even som of the things I was speaking to Him about this morning came up in this video, so He is already speaking and confirming!! I literally just asked someone the question: “how can you have a relationship with God and not be in His Word for yourself, not by word-of-mouth?” … Dreams have always been big in my relationship with God. Now that I’ve began reading the Bible, I can see how He speaks to me during readings or in future moments, when I’m reminded of the scriptures. I love how you said He’ll be familiar. I literally can remember hearing a voice like my mom’s and when I woke up, my mom was sleep herself & I always think of those odd moments, when logically nothing added up but spiritually, it aligned.

This was good 😊 I have heard this same message over and over again but this just solidified the idea that too many distractions and information can block out your hearing the voice of God. I have heard that still small voice many times before and ignored it because I wasn’t sure how it would come across to other people or I was doubting if I was hearing correctly and then later regretted it when I didn’t listen.

I absolutely always love this topic ❤️. I was talking about this topic a few days ago. And just today, I was reminded of this again. I saw a little girl I knew from when I did my internship. She was walking and when she heard my voice, she immediately called my name and smiled. Some of the key things I’ve learned on my journey with the Lord in regards to this topic is this. 1. As long as we follow God, it is a promise that we will hear his voice. God speaks to everyone but when you don’t seek His face, you are not able to discern His voice. 2. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. -John 10:27 3. When we have the Word of God in our heart, the Holy Spirit has something to work with. So many times, people just want to hear the voice of God and although there is nothing wrong with that, the voice of God is wrapped in purpose. God speaks whether giving an instruction or reminding us about something but when we don’t seek His face and we are not obedient, what really is the purpose of us wanting to hear His voice? 4. If there's no intimacy with the Holy Spirit, you won't know/hear His voice. Everything and everyone will sound like him. I look at this in this way. Take it that you spend time with your mother and you know her voice. When you go to the market place and your mother calls you, irrespective of how many people are there, you will know your mothers voice because you spend time with her. 5. Do you hold Jesus in your heart? He is the word. The Word is Him. He is inseparable from the Word. 6. God speaks to us in different ways in different seasons but His word never changes so we must stay connected to the source. The word is the plug and when we are not connected, something else has our attention. 7. The people, music, movies and environment play a very huge role in us even discerning God’s voice. We must be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. Who you surround yourself with is very important because even in those times where you may be struggling to hear the voice of God, God can use the person in your life who seeks after Him to bring forth the message. 8. If we cannot hear God, we must come like a little child asking the Lord to teach us. We don’t already get it right but when you have intimacy with the Father, He will reveal and you will know the heart of the Father. Just a little testimony when it came to the video in the free guide you provided. So last night I was trying to rush God and His answer over a song to sing for this Sunday. I’m visiting family and my uncle is the pastor and put me to sing so I was becoming stressed when it came to a song then even more so when I didn’t get an answer. Then I was praying and basically felt an overwhelming feeling of guilt and I was saying “maybe you don’t want me to sing because I have so much pride” which is genuinely something I have a problem with. I do focus so much on how I sound instead of focusing on God. And I said “am I even supposed to sing?” I am in the youth worship team at my church and was just feeling like I am not equipped for that and I felt like God wanted me to leave that. Well I don’t have the song yet, I am still waiting to hear His voice but in the video you showed me the difference between Gods voice and the devil and how the devil tries to guilt, shame, reject, only shows the problem, and eventually just leads us into hiding. Which is exactly what was happening. I thought it was God making me feel these things but it wasn’t and I’m so very grateful I stumbled upon that video. I do know I have a problem with pride and need to fix that but that’s exactly what God wants- for it to be fixed. Thank you and God bless.

Then I was praying and basically felt an overwhelming feeling of guilt and I was saying “maybe you don’t want me to sing because I have so much pride” which is genuinely something I have a problem with. I do focus so much on how I sound instead of focusing on God.
And I said “am I even supposed to sing?”
I am in the youth worship team at my church and was just feeling like I am not equipped for that and I felt like God wanted me to leave that.
Well I don’t have the song yet, I am still waiting to hear His voice but in the video you showed me the difference between Gods voice and the devil and how the devil tries to guilt, shame, reject, only shows the problem, and eventually just leads us into hiding. Which is exactly what was happening. I thought it was God making me feel these things but it wasn’t and I’m so very grateful I stumbled upon that video. I do know I have a problem with pride and need to fix that but that’s exactly what God wants- for it to be fixed. Thank you and God bless.
