Duuuuude! I can't tell you how flattered I am. I'm so glad I could inspire you. 😊 Funny enough, I just recently had the idea of generic, blank boxes, for more city functionality. I had not, though, thought of making grassy, or sandy ones, until just now. Brilliant addition, Sean The rocky outcrops look fantastic, and I suspect I shall build some, in future
I love what you do Cross and you will definitely be seeing me pursue the idea further, it is one of the things that I just love about our community and that is how we all want to build together and celebrate our successes, share our processes and get a kick out of seeing someone take an idea and run with it across multiple creators all coming up with fantastic designs and solutions! See you soon my friend!
Hey Steve... thank you ... I love rocks in the real world, I am always fascinated by their many forms and colours so I get quite a kick out of doing any build with rocks in 😂
@@Terrain_Craft_Chronicles Yeah I never thought of scoring the EVA foam like that. Definitely want to give that a shot on my next rock project. I think yours turned out great! How do you think they will hold up with long term use? And does the flock stay attached to EVA well enough? I've recently shifted to crafting with EVA and want to try a full EVA flocked terrain board but I'm concerned the flexibility of it will cause the flock to not stick.
@@HouseDM So long as you seal it you won't have any problems at all... i have several pieces of EVA terrain that were flocked and are several years old and still perfectly fine! Also EVA goes rock solid with barely any flex if you heat seal it the generously PVA it ... good luck
❤️Love it. Having stumbled across your lava board build, this video has got several lightbulbs popping off in my head. I'm well used to using Eva from a cosplay background, and I've been looking for ways to build awesome terrain for my Star Wars Legion games. Your work is great. Keep it up. I only hope mine looks as good when it's finished 😁🎉🙌🏻
This is awesome... I just got back from a trip to the States so sorry for the delayed response, I hope that you are getting on well. Please do ask if you have any questions 👍
Really cool seeing you open this video with Cross - love his creativity and his channel; definitely one of the best :) this was a great video to watch while doing some of my own hobbying; I'm finally getting time to hobby and also catch up with some older videos :) one thing I noticed; you stick the tufts down only using their own "sticky"? I've had trouble with tufts coming loose before so always dip the tuft into PVA before situating :) anyway, superb result as always mate :)
Hey Galan... thanks for asking. Pretty much everything I make is for D&D but I try to make it in a way that it can be used for tabletop skirmish games. I rarely get the opportunity to play wargames or skirmish games of any kind but I am working to sort my life out to give me some time 😂. But I have on my shelf 40k (3 editions worth) Age of Sigmar (2nd ed) Frostgrave, Gaslands, and a few others from Osprey games... I would like to get into Star Wars and Necromunda, just a budget thing really! What about yourself?... I would love to know
@Galan My mini's collection for D&D is pretty sizeable but they are all ancient 😂 ... sadly they live mostly all tumbled together in a box waiting to be the focus of attention for an upcoming encounter. I love what I see around now from 3d printers on Etsy... and I am quite often tempted into buying them to add to my piles of opportunity! What campaign are you running?
@@galan8115 Hah hah... many heads better than one ... the best games come from improv. When the great Gary Gygax passed away I ran a game completely using 1st edition random tables... that game is still talked about to this day!

I was happy for myself to realize I was already subscribed to CT!
Going over there soon.
@Harriet Craig Awesome
@@Terrain_Craft_Chronicles you sound like the wisest of Philosophers. Thoroughly enjoy your channel btw!

Well done!
That really WAS excitement for my eyes!
Hah ha... well I am super chuffed for that fact 😂
Love the rock's sharpness

Love the look of your grass rocks! Absolutely beautiful and interesting design! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you very much, I think I finally have a repeatable process that I am happy with... uses up scraps to boot 😂 and it is a simple one!

Hey Beard... I love how we all keep each other going :D thanks for the tip on the tufts... it is timely for a project I am working on right now!
Dear Sean, thank you for another great video. If it is not much trouble, what do you use to play? D&D and roleplaying games or wargames?

@@Terrain_Craft_Chronicles I do collect more than play, to be fair. But Im trying to get a set of minis to use in my D&D campaign to run some parts.

@@Terrain_Craft_Chronicles Custom campaign, mostly improv and scribling down the idesa my players get cause they are better than mine XD.
