Please come out with an editing course, or filmic story telling. I would bet many people including myself would be willing to pay for something like that! love your videos brotha.
You should look at the other videos on this lens posted closer to when it was announced. It's got significant flaws, especially wide open. The gm II has no flaws.
Great review! The Sirui is an impressive lens for professionals. But for someone like me, I’m wondering if the TTArtisan 75mm f/2 might be better-it’s lighter and more affordable for sure.
The Sirui Aurora delivers professional-level results, but I’ve eyeing on the TTArtisan 75mm f/2 for its compact size and price. Would I be missing out much on image quality? Will the f/1.4 make a noticeable difference in real use?
@ Maybe brands are afraid that not enough people use Lumix and other L mount cameras? I feel like the lack of 3rd party lenses is one of the major factors that causes some people to turn away from investing in a lumix camera.
I adore this man, especially his elegant way of throwing lenses through the air. 😂
It's great getting these affordable yet very good quality lenses from China. Hope they keep improving and they can end up matching or surpassing GM's.
So Max Holloway's brother is here doing lenses reviews instead of taking over the light heavyweight division.
😂
This is actually Brad Tavares’s brother 😅😂
haha pretty much
Haha BMF champ!

impressive lens
I love it actually. very nice lens
Not gonna lie, I’m not a fan of the 85mm in any system really, BUT that Aurora is looking really really sexy, the Bokeh is super creamy
I have to agree. 50 mm in my opinion is much more usable in a lot more situations. 85mm is just too tight sometimes
That’s a wonderful price, but it seems the sigma is still the best value when considering performance to price ratio
Yeah most likely. Hard to beat sigma these days with the overall value and performance
how is compared to the 85 1.8 Sony one? It's priced at same ...when is on sale
I'd pick the Sirui. Better bokeh.
Tough choice But I would say the Sirui just for the flexibility of having an f1.4
Opinions on this for video?
Please compare this to 85 gm lens
how will this compare to the Batis 85?
good question. I haven't personally used any Ziess Batis lenses
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema I may order one and give it a go
NOTHING BEATS ZEISS MY FRIEND
@@auroragio Sigma does, and so do the GM lenses.
Interesting!!!
very nice lens
It says on website that lens is Partial Compatible for Photography for Sony A7S3. What does that mean?
Isn’t this the lightest 85 1.4? And did yours come with the uv filter and the black mist filter?
yes it did come with it. Was not sure if this was included with the lens or a separate purchase so I did not add it in the video
Jason can this lens beat the sony 85mm 1.4 mark ii in term of video quality and focusing
Probs not given it’s 4x the price. If heard the Meike is super sharp. But this Aurora has 15 Aperture blades. The GM and the Meike have 12.

the 85mm GM II is pretty much perfect

Love it but I dont like the Aurora branding on the side of it, makes it look cheap, the sirui badge is plenty
i agree. There are really questionable branding logos lately. I have point this out with the 7artisans Hope cinema primes. Horror logo
Review samyang v-af lens
I am trying to get my hands on it
There’s no L mount? I shoot sony but that’s odd how they don’t have an L mount version.
I have no idea why not. L mount flange distance isn't too far away from the rest either
@ Maybe brands are afraid that not enough people use Lumix and other L mount cameras? I feel like the lack of 3rd party lenses is one of the major factors that causes some people to turn away from investing in a lumix camera.
Why do companies hate L mount lol
yeah i know. The L mount flange distance isn't too much different from the rest either
Check out what Steven Leong has to say about this lens. Was about to buy this thing until I watched that. Saving up for the Sigma
I have to check this. Wondering if there is inconsistencies or something
not for L
No L mount
... nah
it's Not real life test.
