i am still thinking what to buy a prime 50 mm or this 18105f4 , i do like variable bcz on street u need it but im not sure if f 4 will work after sun set in street photography ,
POV videos are the absolute best. I love seeing and understanding what's going though another photographers mind sometimes as to how they come about their shots. Also, been staring at that 18-105 for a while now. Almost got it, but my local photography store had just sold the only used one they had. Ended up with the Zeiss 18-70mm instead. Great video man. Can't wait to see more, and I'll definitely will be getting some merch!
Thank you very much bro! Yes! Pov videos can be very insightful to see how the shot came about. Check out mpb.com they have great used gear also ebay tends to keep good prices on used stuff. Zeiss is pretty good though. Havent shot that one but they seem to be pretty sharp
youtube is doing great with their algorithm right now. I've been searching non stop for pov street photography videos and you're one that popped up :) this was epic looking forward to more
Man as someone who gravitates towards street photography, I've always felt hopeless thinking San Diego is too dead and empty for street cred. You've certainly changed my mind :^]
It jus takes more processing time. In this video though since this lens only opens up to f/4 I am pretty confident thats what I shot everything at. Iso ranged around 400-600 since it was getting darker and jus compensated with my shutter speed. ;)
Love POVs, really nice way to see the process before seeing the selected pictures, so keep it up If I may give you some constructive criticism, liked your final picture, but the sky was really blown-out (I think that's the right word? Not a native english speaker). I think it would have really enhanced it if you under-exposed it, then added light to the city part via Lightroom/Photoshop. That way maybe you could've catch a cloud or something to give it some texture, or at lest it not being 100% white. Really like the picture tho, it has a really warm feeling, feels like a sunset, don't know if it truly was, good job!

Buy both 😉 I would say you dont really need a zoom lens for street photo, many photogs shoot on prime lenses for street photography, I feel it makes you more creative 🤙🏼
I believe I say 105. I was zoomed in to really show how big the buildings are. If I would have been on a wider lens the buildings wouldnt look nearly as big.
It would be good if you are shooting outdoors, getting al the getting ready shots and indoor portraits I would have a lens with a minimum 1.8 aperture for the just in case ( meaning you need more light and have a time crunch) I recommend looking into tamron 28-75 2.8. I use that alot along with either a 50 1.8 or 85 1.8
Im fully convinced, i always thought the f4 aperture was too dark, but this video proved me wrong! Thanks for the content!
No problem! It can be harder to expose at night, you would need a tripod depending what youre shooting. At day time theres no issues 🤙🏼

I was undecided on buying this lens for my a6400 or the Sony 85mm 1.8...but after your video ima go with the 18-105mm! Awesome shots!
Theyre both great lenses! I love my 85 for portraits, the 18-105 I only use for street or back up. Thanks!
@@JesusMartinezCreates I’m still using my kit lens, would be smart to get a zoom lens first right? Before getting a prime lens
It all depends what you shoot, if you do want to get into portraits and want super buttery bokeh, I would go for the 85mm 1.8 or 50mm 1.8
amazing content man, love it!
Thank you very much! 🙏🏼

Thank you very much! It is a small thing compared to NewYork but if you try hard enough you can get creative 😉
I'm so hype to get my a6400 and the 18-105 f/4 now... thank you for the video, she's really cool and the shots are sick
Thanks! Its a great combo 🤙🏼
Did you use filter ? Grear combo 😎
You have to make some Lr presets , i think a lot of people buy it 🤙🏾😃
Thanks bro! I make my own edits 🤙🏼
Wounderfull job brother 🔥
Thank you! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
would be nice if you also wrote the settings when you show a photograph. I was wondering, what f stop were you on during this shoot?

Quick tip for ya, I keep my shutter in high shutter mode, it helps a lot with the panning photos.
But high shutter wont give me motion blur 🤔
Awesome video !
Thank you!!!!
Love the POVs. You should make some Lr presets too!
Thanks! Yes! They will be coming shortly!
beautiful pictures!
Thank you! I really appreciate it!
I was going to ask what grip your using but I was like he might has a video on it.
Haha yes! I do have a video lol its a cool grip, makes the a6400 bigger and gives a longer battery life. I like it 👍🏼

Also, went into your shopped, LOVED the "Bank of America" picture, I'd buy it right now if I didn't live it Latinamerica lol
Yeah it actually was a sunset so I would have to really, really underexpose my image. Thank you! Tambien hablo español 😉🤙🏼
this is dope!
Thanks bro! 🤙🏼
How you fix the distrotion about this lens. On my camera setting distort comp not function :(
I use lightrooms lens correction to fix it.

Hi there, what is the model name of the lens hood that you're using there?
The lens hood comes with the lens.
which mm did you used to take your favorite picture? thanks

Genial...
Gracias!
I just got that lens
It's a dope lens, I need the full frame version now
This lens shoots 105mm at F4 ?
