    This video was great. At the end when you were showing your examples. I couldn't believe they were not satin stitch. That's something to aspire to!

    I am all thumbs when it comes to the long and short and yet my satin stitch is near perfection. My mind just does not compute illogical designs. Can you do a tutorial on how to fill in a large background going step by step for us dummies in the split long short stitch? You are incredibly talented. ❤

    I have been looking for a stitch like this ever since I realized the satin stitch only works for small areas. Thank you!

    (Not sure if you'll see this) I loved this video because it demystified how I would see beautiful embroidery projects w huge spaces filled w stitching and I didnt know how they did it. I tried doing what you did here but it looked rough and not smooth, would you have any pointers?

      Thank you!
      Hard to give tips without seeing your embroidery. Maybe you don't have enough fabric or thread tension, maybe the look you want requires less strands and so on

    Do you outline last? Or start with an outline and then fill? Or does it depend?

    • @Faimyxstitch
      @Faimyxstitch  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It depends on the project. For me, it's more comfortable to finish with an outline while doing landscapes, for example. And otherwise when I'm making an architectural piece.

    just a small question- if i have sky to fill with this stitch, would it be better if i stitched horizontally or vertically ? i was thinking horizontally ? as it will be easier to navigate through the clouds in the sky in my piece.

    • @Faimyxstitch
      @Faimyxstitch  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would do it horizontally - easier to blend colors

    How do you split a single thread

    • @Faimyxstitch
      @Faimyxstitch  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      you don’t split single mouline cotton thread. It consists out of 6 strands. Each of this six can‘t be split further and used
