Hi Dave nice review!! I bought a set of them last week and am very happy with them. Two pointers about your video 1 they normally come with a spring for the initial compression and not that white elastometer; 2 they do sell 2 optional elastometers that substitute the hole brake pedal configuration to make the compression a lot harder, 1 with that white elastometer for the initial compression and a red one, and the 2nd option is a single big red elastometer. Another thing that they do is a motor shake addon like the V3s have. Oh, and one thing that is undervalued in these pedals and some of the more affordable don't have is that they use behrings, a nice litle touch that make them smother and less prone to sweeky sounds. Have a nice Dave and keep the good work
Hi. Summer is almost over and as I planned, I'm looking to buy new pedals. I'm eying Asetek Forte, DC and Sprints. I race in socks, so they have to be socks friendly. What is your long term experience with them? Would you buy them again? What would you improve? Did you have any problems or hickups?
Dave, just found your channel after a year of being on GT sport. Late into the game after a youth similar to yours (90's raver) although now months away from touching 50 yrs old. Just started on GT7 and will look to continue watching your videos.. Keep up the great work. p.s. the clip of Fantazia summertime you used, I was there 👌🏻
After many many months of watching your videos I finally made the leap and purchased my first set.... It's not great, but it gets me in the game. Logitech g27. I'll be coming back to these videos once I can upgrade to something a little newer.
Thanks For The Review Dave. I Love The Fact That There Are More Companies Coming Out With Affordable Pedals...Better Competition & Better For Us Consumers In The End.
Thank you so much for comparing them to other companies. I’ve never heard of these so I would have definitely been more inclined to purchase the fanatec, but if you say these are better I put my trust in you. Thanks Dave
They look a nice pedal set for the money. I will put them on my "Possible Future Purchase" list. That was a good review from a man who doesn't do reviews. Thanks Dave it was useful.
I have had these pedals since they came out, and they have evolved for the better over time, the SZ elastomers are a before and after. and to that we add their fully customizable software, great video men.💪
I am from Spain and these are actually made in Spain by DC Simracing. They are very customer friendly and professional. They are doing a very good job. The loadcell on the DC2 is 100Kg so that should be plenty for many. I actually have an even more affordable option which are the DC1's with a 60Kg loadcell. I personally think they are the perfect beginner Loadcell pedal kit for someone that comes from, for example a Logitec G29/G27. The step up from something without a loadcell to this is unbelievable. You are not actually braking until you have some of these. And yes, they don't "brake" the bank. Good one Dave 😃😃
I bought this set about 3 months ago and am very happy with it so far. before that i used the fanatec CSL elite Loadcell pedals and the new ones are much better and give you a better ride especially when braking. For this low price I can definitely recommend it. But buy also the better Elastomer set
Thanks Dave for your recent experiences with some new products. It’s too late for my bank balance but increased competition in the market hopefully makes it more wallet friendly for newcomers to this crazy hobby. Have a good one!
That’s a great review, everything I needed to hear and what I would be looking to compare them too! As someone who isn’t going to spend a fortune I think they may well be the upgrade to my very old fanatec pedals!
I recently bought the thrustmaster t-lcm kit and added a mod i found here on youtube and i'm very pleased with them. They even cost €100 less then these (mod included)
@@SiskoMilo well yeah obviously but still they feel pretty damn good and have a adjustable 100kg loadcell. @@HQ519 I have ended up settling on a thrustmaster t248. I had the G29 myself and I would point you to the t248 it's a nice wheel and pedals for the price. I've had 3 load cell pedal sets, the DC2's are among them, and in my opinion, by far the worst .. 1st set: ProtoSimtech PT1 pedals .. very good 2nd set: DC2 pedals .. uugh 3rd set: MecaCup1-2 pedal set .. the best by a very wide margin Problem with the DC2 set, for me, is the brake pedal design. very short throw going from soft to sudden hard in a very short distance; this in the standard configuration with the spring load up front. There are of course different brake pedal configurations one can try, including the set up on Dave video, where the spring is replaced with a ribbed durometer and other available configurations. I've tried them all, including custom durometers, and could not get them to work th eway I liked; all due to the short throw of the entire brake assembly design. I've also tested them by comparing brake telemetry between these and my MecaCup pedals. The MecaCups telemetry vs DC2 telemetry show MUCH better brake input consistency and more optimal brake curve patterns when compared to pro lap telemetry on VRS. This obvioulsy due to the superior brake pedal design on the MecaCups, including a longer brake pedal throw which improves the potential for better modulation. You get what you're paying for, which I guess is the point I'm trying to make.

Hi, how are they compared to the fanatec v3 pedals? May be that you mentioned it already in the video. In that case I must have overheard it and I am really sorry
Great review. I just want to add that you mix up brake stiffness with sensitivity. You talk about how you like a stiffer brake pedal and the rubbers are too soft but reason it with reaching 40ish kg of brake pressure too easily. These are not dependent on each other. You can have 20kg of brake with 100% while not moving the pedal more than a millimetre.
@@davecamyt that does not make it incorrect. Put a 200kg load cell in and you still reach max travel but not 100% force. All I'm saying is travel and force are not related. You could even just remove the elastomers and replace them with hard plastic that doesn't compress. You would still feel the pedal too max out too easily even tho it would be as stiff as can be by not moving a bit.
I understand what you're saying and with the Asetek pedals that's how it works. Not with these. Calibration to 100% is easily reached and will not go beyond no matter how hard the pedal is pressed.
