Thank you! The difference btwn before & after is shocking. I love antiques but I'm always nervous about how to launder vintage fabric. I'll be watching from now on!

Great guy. Endearing video. I laughed out loud when he squeezed it to get the water out shouting ‘I thought you were looking after it’ 🤣

Fabulous!!!! I LOVE antiques and you made this look great without any compromise.
I always learn so much from you.
(Also your video was awesome. I’d rather see what you want to show us regardless of video quality).

Do you think safe to use this method for an heirloom spun silk Christening Gown that has yellowed over time?

Looks so much butter but I can’t help but wonder if a second soak would’ve evened out the remaining oxidation.

It actually looks great in person, I think it was my phone camera that makes it look dingy

Hi, Patric! I learned about you a few weeks ago. Love your channel! This was very informative today. Also, if you could direct me on the right link to learn about how to get old, musty smell from stored baby clothes, that’d be great. I know you’re bound to have covered that somewhere. My mother passed away and we’ve found a lot of our baby dresses stored in her hope chest (they’re from the mid ‘60s so I’m telling my age 😂) Thanks for your attention to detail!

Can this same technique be applied to a baby quilt from 1900? It is white background with pastel colored cotton. If I put it in a standard size bathtub, how much O2 bleach?

Yes, you can. About 3 tablespoons should do it, no problem

Colour is .... Ecru .. Probably the natural colour of the fabric.

What brand did you use to clean it? I have a 50 yr old balance I want to clean.

It actually looks like the red dye in the berries started to bleed.

It's funny I went back to look and see what you were looking at, it totally does in the video...I blame that on photographers error, it doesn't on the piece. I will try to get a better photo and add it to the end. Thanks
