There is something about editing this show that consumes me every time. Each Viking edit I have created has taken about a month or over a month to complete and each time it leaves me mentally exhausted. I do feel an attachment to the stories told in this show and in that, lies the responsibility to do my best. This will be my last edit for this show; I will continue to challenge myself in other ways and I hope all who have followed and subscribed to my account, stick with me and enjoy what is to come as I am now hitting my stride as a video editor. Of all the characters, it would seem fitting that I end my Viking edits on quite possibly my favorite character, Halfdan. It feels right that this would be my last edit for that series as I have had Halfdan as my profile picture for TH-cam since I first opened it. His character’s story arc completely grabbed me. His transition away from his past life and understanding that life can have a different, more complex meaning, is something I identify with too well. So, as my goodbye to this show, I say goodbye to my favorite character. Harald’s story in this arc also proved to be a deeply emotional one. His regret was so powerful that it was palpable to the audience. I found beauty in it. In his pursuit for what he thought he wanted most, he lost everything. Its not hard to apply that lesson to your life and I have tried to do as much in observing the story between these two brothers. I sincerely hope you enjoy.

This is truly breathtaking I have big expectations for this one and you blown them out of the water .You captured both of their journeys perfectly and managed to show off the incredible bond they both shared for one another as a massive Vikings fan I'm speechless at how amazing this was. You picked the perfect music which really complemented their characters and the quotes you chose were so meaningful and emotional. I had alot of parts I liked but my favourite is the fact you included them singing together across the battlefield to one another.I always find harlds ambition to be king so tragic the fact he lost everything to get it. This art you created Jon will go down as one of the greatest Vikings tribute on TH-cam, its is such amazing masterpiece and I'm so happy it's to celebrate hitting 3k subscribers you definitely deserved it and I have no doubts in my mind you'll be hitting many more soon enough 💙
Thats incredibly kind man. I never have the words to thank you for your constant support. And yes, Haralds story was definitely a tragedy and in his regret, I found emotion and beauty. It truly spoke to me. Halfdan was my favorite character so i wanted to make sure to send him off well.

I had the whole World, I was left without anyone. Including my Brother. I lost my father, and son. I lost everyone. I thought I was gaining the whole World, yet, I didn't realize I already had it until it was gone. That is the cold truth.

So Harald became King of Norway after killing his brother Halfdan ? What was the meaning of Halfdan in the desert scene then, did he go back from there to Kattegat with Björn? And finally who was the one who killed Harald? He was not the same King Harald from Norway who lost the famous battle 1066 in England, was he?

harold grew on me man and I realized the only reason I hated him is cause he was viking like everyone else in the damn show on the second watch all the way through I realize im just a hypocrite lmfaooooooooo also fun fact Bjorn and Ragnar were never king of an entire nation technically, but Harold fine hair in real history was! he actually did become king of Norway at some point
