- I took a stroll at San Pedro Plaza Park to get some great views of the LA Waterfront and the Port of LA.
Miner St. and Harbor Blvd are in view, and the Vincent Thomas Bridge and Long Beach International Gateway (originally Gerald Desmond Bridge) are in the background.
West Harbor, an upcoming food hall and waterfront park replacing Ports O' Call Village, is under construction and expected to be completed in summer of 2025.

This side of the port I haven't been to this park. My daughter and I one time took the Thomas Vincent Bridge across to go over to Palos Verde Peninsula to go hiking on the beach where it was accessible. What a view and to see all the trucks from the bridge taking and bringing back all those containers, was cool to watch!!😂
Thank you for sharing your memories with your daughter in San Pedro, Dutchman! 😃 I drove through the Vincent Thomas Bridge twice on both directions to get to my destination. I wish I have a dash cam to record the drive. 😂
