The California Incline (formerly called Sunset Trail in 1896) is a slanted road that connects Ocean Ave and California Ave with State Route 1 or Pacific Coast Highway (PCH). It consists a designated pedestrian and bike path and lanes for motor vehicles.

This was a nice walk around sillicon beach!! If you stopped in to either place I wonder if they would have offered you some TH-cams of tooth paste or Goggles..(aka Google) to wear on your eyes to protect from the sun at Silicone Beach 😅

A very interesting video Hengmiao I like this exhibition that showed information about Chinese immigrants settling in old Chinatown in Los Angeles. I remember when vacationing in Jamaica I came across information about the first wave of Chinese immigrants settling in Kingston, Jamaica in 1854 from China. I also remember that Jamaica has a Chinatown too located in Montego Bay.

@mariamercy7317 Silence is golden sometimes, just like the silent movies from the early 1910s until the 1930s! Love the Shirley Temple reference, and there's so much history about Union Station. 😃
Totally disappointing... No movement at all. A bunch of stuck lanterns lining the water's edge. Could have been beautiful, but each lantern was stuck right where it was launched. Way too expensive. LOUD pre-recorded 'meditation'. Good intentions, but not well executed. Must account for wind currents, but they did not. Meh at best. Wish it was better - Don't bother.
Your reasons are valid. They only allowed a specific section of the lake for the lantern release, so yes, the lanterns flowed only to the edge. It's understandable, because there are fish in the lake and it's easier for the staff to clean up. It was my first experience, and I enjoyed it.
Once again I loved the performances, and my 29 year old niece loves it too. It was entertaining watching the performers play the drums on my big tv screen.😃 Well done Hengmiao! Now I look forward to more videos! 😁

This side of the port I haven't been to this park. My daughter and I one time took the Thomas Vincent Bridge across to go over to Palos Verde Peninsula to go hiking on the beach where it was accessible. What a view and to see all the trucks from the bridge taking and bringing back all those containers, was cool to watch!!😂
