Nice one mate. Been laid up all summer after an op. Hoppers are back out now and Squirrels just coming on to feed now the glut of wild food is slowing. So hopefully back in business and happy day. Very much enjoyed the cabin series.
Cracking job on the Jay...I know because of how 'nice and colourfull' they are some shooters do not shoot them but if they saw them working hedges in song bird breeding times and emptying the nests of young and eggs like I certainly have on more than one occasion they might have a change of heart..
Top notch video mucka as ever, shame about the miss mate, if could have seen the misses iv had you would pis,,, your sen laughing, mate, hell be there for another day mate, but just being out in that environment would put a smile on any body's face, :) Cheers Mucka
Hi mate Enjoyed that two nice clean kills shame about the miss but we all miss its just frustrating When you get the jay mounted it would be nice to see it mate Thanks for that till next time take care atvb chris
Went out myself today for some Greys. Absolutely flooded with them this year in North Wales. I prefer to walk and stalk but today most of my kills were from one area nestling against an Oak Tree. Never had the need or patience to use a hide as I like to keep moving but it's something I'd like to try even though wearing a gillie suit pretty much makes you invisible if your quiet enough. Rich
I always used to free hunt Squirrels and its a great test of a hunters skill set. Similiar tactics to you have put plenty in the bag in the past. Hide shooting is my prefered choice these days because its easier when it comes to capturing footage & i like to do my homework and place myself in the right area
Evening Donald, The Squirrels hunger will draw them in over the next few weeks. Im more than happy with the double its not always about numbers, the morning was a pleasure all round 😁

Really enjoying your videos, really well filmed and I'm learning loads from them. Like you I've got an S510 Ultimate Sporter in .177 and it's the best . Just a question though....what make is the woodland pattern hide you use?
