Great stuff and thankyou for posting. I've seen Magpies use their 'Bounce' technique to 'walk' along short distances and much as I detest them (and Crows) - it is intriguing to watch.

Hi Lee, have you ever thought about using a Larsen trap and catching a magpie from out the area as magpie’s are very territorial

I usually use a decoy magpie that as been taken from another area.
That way you either get a territorial response or the reaction to the decoy 👍

Are these native species or invasive? I know the gray squirrels are certainly invasive but I always thought these corvids were native.
