Great stuff and thankyou for posting. I've seen Magpies use their 'Bounce' technique to 'walk' along short distances and much as I detest them (and Crows) - it is intriguing to watch.
You are so in your element Lee under those conditions,, some good wood in that container mate,, excellent setup and great advice,,, with the commentary,, spot on marksmanship,, 👍🤠
Hi, I usually use a decoy magpie that as been taken from another area. That way you either get a territorial response or the reaction to the decoy 👍 Its a great tip 😁
@@CORVIDHUNTER What's your fave way to eat wood pigeon n magpie mate? Also do U rate the southern fried squirrel quarter like KFC hot wings at all mate? I'm always out in my local woods tryna get things.. got a few pheasants, few rabbits, few wood pigeon n magpies.. no squirrels yet but when I do I really Wana try the KFC deep fried squirrel quarters haha 😆👌 I loved the pheasants n rabbits tho just slow roasted them with roast spuds n veg nngravy was a lovely Sunday roast 💯💚🙏☮️✌️
@IndianaJoeChannel The woodie breasts are good pan fried and turned in to kebabs. Ive only eaten Magpie once as a test, i wouldnt fancy eating them on a regular basis because they eat carrion. The Squirrel hot wings were fantastic 😋, and they are great Kfc style 👍

Hi Lee, have you ever thought about using a Larsen trap and catching a magpie from out the area as magpie’s are very territorial

Are these native species or invasive? I know the gray squirrels are certainly invasive but I always thought these corvids were native.
Hi,
They are native, however the population level needs balance to protect other species 👍
