  • Today's video addresses an exciting but crucial topic - the cautionary steps you should consider when venturing into the world of Telehealth-only practice. Many aspiring healthcare providers have reached out, expressing their plans to start or transition to an exclusive Telehealth practice. While the convenience and accessibility of Telehealth are undeniable, there are important factors you need to be aware of.
Healthcare regulations and insurance policies are constantly evolving, making it challenging for providers to keep up. This is particularly true for those new to the field or practice ownership. This video provides insights and advice to help you navigate this dynamic landscape.
We'll discuss the current state of Telehealth, including recent Medicare changes that have made it more accessible. However, these changes are set to expire at the end of 2024, leaving uncertainty about the future of Telehealth reimbursement. At minute 3 about Aetna changing their requirements for telehealth I thought, "Yikes! Yet another feature of minutiae to keep up with, as though the POSes and modifiers weren't enough from private insurer to private insurer." So timely, and thank you!!😍
