People saying one version is better than the other or the og version is still better, they are two different styles of the same song. Morello has a more controlled, quiet, sinister anger, it’s more focused to a single point. Denzel has this angry, angsty, disgusted sound in his version, like he just reached a breaking point finally and just fucking let all that frustration with the world out. It’s more metal sounding than the og. Personally for me, they aren’t really comparable . They are both insanely talented and versatile. However, if we’re going off of which version is harder to vocalize, it’s definitely denzels. The breath control and diaphragm control he displays is so insanely well done, people don’t know how hard it is to make screaming and shouting at the top of your lungs sound amazing.

I’m not gonna lie, while this song is a RATM classic and they deserve credit for making this song, I prefer this cover over the original any day. Denzel ramps up the energy and anger of the song to an 11-which is my opinion is how it’s meant to be. I’ve listened to this cover countless times at this point and it still never fails to give me goosebumps.

You should probably listen to Pink Floyd before they lost Sid Barrett, their front man. There is a video on youtube of a BBC broadcast they did in 1967 of Astronomy Domine. After you have listened to so much of their catalogue from the mid and late 70's you can fully appreciate what they originally were meant to sound like before their front man went insane.
