As we learned from the battle in the Pacific, even with jetfighters helping him, Kong is not much of a match for Godzilla. So to even the match up they gave Kong a hatchet that was not only sharp enough, strong enough to cut into Godzilla's strong hide but also could be used as a shield.

You just pointed out a massive flaw in this video. The channel acknowledges the history of Godzilla from his movies and comics, yet only references Kong's history from one movie "Kong: Skull Island". This made the whole battle pathetic. If you knew anything about Kong, you'd know in the original Kong vs Godzilla movie (which Kong won in, btw) Kong can harness and transfer lightening. Couple that with the fact he can use weapons/shields made out of anything from a ship to a building, I'd say that puts him at good odds. And seeing as Godzilla has to charge up his breath and after using it, needs time to recharge it, whereas Kong can keep using his weapons, I don't see your comment being very substantial anymore.

This was spot on lol. When they battled on water, Godzilla destroyed kong. When they battled on land I’d say it was even with maybe kong having a slight edge but even then Godzilla still manage to get the axe away and almost killed him. Godzilla clearly won in the battles but the best thing I took from this movie wasn’t even who was gonna win against the two cause I got so absorbed by everything that was happening so when the ending came and everything played out, the last thing I was thinking was who was gonna win. These analysis videos are great. But I'd love to see you guys handle the match-up of all Kaiju match-ups. One that would see if massive experience in defeating/killing kaiju would trump the Big G's overall abilities.

@@feizarreview yeah because he got hit by a bomb you know radiation, Godzilla needs massive amounts of radiation to reach the lava or fire level, he can’t just summon it when ever he wants all he has is his atomic breathe when he’s normal and his other abilities so no he isn’t nerfed

We arent gonna bring up nerfed kong? Atleast as far as this comparison goes. Atomic breath resistance, electricity absorption, radioactive immunity. This basically gave kong no abilities except showing up.

Well to be fair Godzilla is used to fighting radioactive creatures to recharge his powers. Since Kong is radioactive Godzilla will have no way to regain energy. Also he has to stand still and take time to charge his blast. I mean know hate I just wanted to share my opinion:)

Seeing this in 2022 and after watching Godzilla vs Kong a couple of times, I'm actually a bit surprised how accurately you worked this out. Well done!
for those of you who think it was a tie between godzilla and kong, it was not, if it weren't for the movie makers wanting to make another sequel Godzilla would've won and he technically did if kong wasn't revived.
I mean it's considered a definitive win. It's like a TKO. Plus if mechagodzilla didnt show up, kong wouldn't have had a chance since he didnt have his axe charged up.
Of course Godzilla won.
