This video will cover how to enable the Radio Aux or "Line In" function of the 2013-2019 Ford Police Interceptor Sedan vehicles including the wiring and programming of the FCDIM module in full detail to the best of our ability. NOTE: On both versions of the wire harness, the lone black wire is the wiring diagram's blue wire. The red and black combined wire is the red/b wire, the white and yellow wires are their respective colors.

Thanks so much man. I got a 2018 police interceptor sedan and have been needing this for about 5 months now. We want all the videos. Especially the trunk button. I've locked my keys in my trunk twice now with the doors up front unlocked and didn't do a bit of good.
If you pull back the left inner fender liner inside the trunk, there is a grey plug that has 2 ends. Both ends are disconnected from one another. If you plug them together you will have the ability to use the trunk button inside without the key in the ignition. Sorry for the late response, we have been trying to figure this out on our test vehicles and have had some work and other not work. If this does not work for you, stick around and we'll get it figured out.

Got a 2013. I wanna bypass the radio and run my own. But put where the siren and radio would go. My plan is the tap into the speaker wires behind the dash. Then find a 12 volt source somewhere to turn the headunit on.
I plan on running a large speaker system.

@josetrejo5080 i had to run a power wire to turn the headunit om and off. Im sure there a different way but that's how i ran it. I got 1 18 now.
What adapter did you use to connect to the Auc cable? Where can I buy it and what kind? Thanks.

Hello! Thank you for the video! I have a 2014 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor. The station that used it originally has gutted/cut the wires in the center console area. So the radio does not power on or work. Could you refer me to a wire diagram for the radio? Or possibly post a video explaning the wiring? I'd like to splice the cut wires to make the radio work again.
When you say radio, I'm assuming you mean the AM/FM radio? I'm not sure why the AM/FM radio would be non-functional due to the wires in the center console being cut. The center console wires should all be connected to a single bus connector on the front left corner of the center console. There is a factory connector there that all the center console accessory and aux wires plug in to if the car was equipped with that option. It allows up fitters to access power, ground and other wires through a "Factory" harness. If those wires are shorting out or have shorted out in the past I would assume the fuse is blown and that fuse does run the radio power. Check the fuse for the Up fitter wiring/Aux power wiring and replace it to see if that fixes it. You may want to unplug the up fitter wiring harness to guarantee no shorts.
Hi, yes I am referring to the FM/AM radio, as well as the head unit itself. I checked all the fuses that I think would relate to the radio/head unit. I only found one blown Fuse (#40), a 40 amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood. Do you know what fuse number relates to the "Up fitter wiring/Aux Power wiring? I checked my owners manual and nothing seemed to match that.
I lack knowledge in this area, so I apologize in advanced.
It tells you on the site they do "NOT" email the code. I tried to open the downloaded extended license on my computer with everything on it and it looks like a half page of binary code. Can't figure that part out. Been 2.5 hours and no email.

Also, my car only came with a key, do you know where can i find a keyfob that i can program myself, ive seen a bounch on amazon but not sure wich one would work or if i can even program them myself or i would need to take the keyfob to a programmer. thanks
On most of the police interceptor sedans there is no "Programming" of the key to the car. Most of them are equipped with "Fleet Key" which was fords way of allowing a Dept. to have the same key start multiple cars. Basically if a officer lost their key to their car or locked their keys in their car, someone else on patrol would have the same key and they could go unlock the car or provide theirs as a spare so they didn't have to jimmy the door open or use any brute force methods.

That being said... you can program the key fob lock and unlock functions as well as the trunk opener function and remote start function. I will be uploading a video specific to the remote start and key fob procedures soon so be looking for that video to drop.
what is the blue wire for ?
I changed the FCDIM to 0001 1000 20DF. I can't remember if I saved my initial configuration. Do you happen to have the one prior to it. Once I made the change I lost my SYNC and now I can't use SYNC, make calls via bluetooth, etc. How can I check the stock configurations or go back to the stock settings?
There's a button to load default configuration. You'll need an internet connection while doing it but it will scan your vin, download the stock configuration for your car and then you'll need to click the write all button after it downloads.
