    Thank you for this session. My affected arm still feels like it weighs about 45 pounds and is a little out of control yet. Wobbles sometimes.

    Thank you for your videos they helped a lot with recovery. I have a question do you know why my thumb and index finger curls whenever I try to grab something the rest of the fingers are fine but it only does it whenever i bend over to try to reach and grab something?

    This video is perfect meets me exactly where I am. I have some movement, but I’m not in therapy so I didn’t know how to get any further. Is it ok/normal for my shoulder to pop when I move it? Every time I try to use it I feel a very noticeable pop. It’s not painful thankfully, but noticeable.

      Hey Heather! I'm glad this video is meeting you where you are 🙂 Generally, I'd say shoulder popping isn't "normal." It's good that it's not painful, but you may want to check with your doctor before trying new exercises just to make sure there isn't something serious underpinning that pop that could lead to an injury if exacerbated. I'm all about better safe than sorry! ❤️

    What can I do for my fingers that are stiff after stroke

    I have more movement in my arm than I had in the very beginning but no functional use yet. I can lift the arm up but it bends at the elbow. I can also close my fingers, but I can't open them. I'm working on getting my arm to stop flexing up so much.
    Can you talk about the difference between weakness and paralysis?

    Is Botox injection can help stroke recovery?

    • @kicknowledgesmith8608
      @kicknowledgesmith8608 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Botox helps loosens the muscles, so they aren't as tight, allowing you to do activities during therapy, it doesn't help move the arm. each case is different. Some just use it for pain/spasticity, but it's not a cure.
