I remember when I was younger I lived in Horwich right next to the Locomotive after I moved from Chorley. Everytime Bolton scored you could hear it from my house, them fans were electric. Sad to see there are usually a lot of empty seats now after their decline

Nat Lofthouse is referred to by the name The Lion Of Vienna. Something to do with him winning an England match with a goal in Vienna so he was given the name.

Ref totally bottled the penalty decision as looked a def one in real time at the ground with the Bolton player being propelled unnaturally through the air like superman after being helped on his way with 2 hands still in his back and then watching it again once i got home the ref had a clear view from about 15 yards away clearly showing the Burton player with both his hands on the back of the Bolton player then add in the scream of the fans and the Bolton players for a nailed on pen,the ref really had no excuses he bottled it as we were seconds away from the end of the match.
OOOOOHHHHH I REMEMBER GOING TO THIS MATCH. The goal should have stood. Eoin Doyle didn’t interfere with the goal. The goal stood until the goalkeeper convinced the linesman to get it disallowed. What kind of state is football in where officials can be convinced into decisions. Last match against Doncaster there was a clear clear backpass just not given. It is actually embarrassing, shocking and shameful that a Bloomin backpass isn’t given.

Btw the Disallowed goal was wrongly chalked off the ref/linesman gave it only till the GK went over to linesman complaining that Doyle was in a offside position while he was there he was blocking his view of the shot but if you watch replays Doyle was stood near post not near GK and GK had clear view on on K.LEE shot cause dived perfectly second K.Lee shot nearly saved it linesman just got convinced by the GK cause he couldn't where Doyle was cause box was full of players but he already kept flag down and we should of had a stonewall pen in 90th min a burton player pushed clear as day in back
