I have been watching your videos for many years now . And I have noticed 7/11 have been improving their products over time , like the curry chicken looks like it's made fresh and hearty not drowning in watery sauce like before and it's looks delicious well done 7/11 .

The cheese and potato framing reminds me of the potato chowder my Mom used to make. It also had cheese in it, and it was a bit thinner,(still quite thick tho), but it was beyond delicious. Thanks for the memories.

Random question: but isn't there a konbini that's only found in the Hokkaido region? I'm having trouble finding the answer to that. I know about the big 3 (7-11, Lawson, Fami-Mart) but when I visit Japan, if I end up being able to check out Hokkaido this time, I'd like to go knowing as much as possible. These Hokkaido dishes remind me of the dishes I grew up with here in Minnesota. Especially that potato gratin! Must be cold weather food thinking!
