We don't have nice Egg sandwiches here at convenience stores, but I make my egg salad with Mayo, sweet relish, chopped egg, yellow mustard, a little bit of apple cider vinegar, a little bit of sugar (if the relish wasn't sweet enough) and then salt to taste.

Conbini Tamagosando is what fuels any excursion I embark on during trips to Japan. My #1 choice for provisions. You just can't go wrong with it.

I miss Japan and I love these videos. I never thought I would enjoy watching two people I don't know eat convenience store food, but I sure do. Thanks for making them!

I was wondering. I thought there was something wrong with my memory. Was that the one where the audio went out for a moment? It was really no big deal at all.

I had to go make soft cooked eggs in my rice cooker before this video even ended! The steamer setting works out great for this. Yours stuff looks much better though!

The combination of mustard and egg is a classic in Germany. We have Senfeier - it is boiled eggs in a mustard sauce and potatos as a side.

I heard about Lawsons when Anthony Bourdain went there for an egg sando and can't wait to go and compare it to Japan's 7-11. One day I'll make it to Japan. Lol

As someone who eats low carb, I would love to know how those egg magicians over at Lawson made those eggs firm enough to hold the fillings but still make it fluffy. I would love to make those kinds of sandwiches at home. Thanks for the great video! This one is really underrated.

Breast meat is not always dry, it depends on how you cook it, if cooked properly it's very tender

I have to make my own Egg sandwiches. But not so much recently as I am on Keto right now. But I like to take soft boiled eggs and a spoon of sour cream, salt, and white pepper. And sometimes I will put cubed avocados in it. But you do not need much sour cream to use as a binder. But I also will use Kewpie Mayo instead of sour cream ,sometimes when I can find it.

Hopefully you can find a good low carb bread where you live, or even make your own 90-second homemade bread that you can make in the microwave and get back to making your tamagosandos! Keep calm and keto on!

We only have 7/11 in Australia and they do not sell very much in the way of food. Although they do sell egg sandwiches which seem to be the same as those sold on Japan.

I need to try making a Japanese style egg salad sometime. Recently I have been really enjoying a premade egg salad from a local grocery chain but it is a chunky style. I want to try the Japanese style sometime to see how it compares.

hahaha you said cho supai and my mouth started to water, just the idea of sour. I usually love sour :) Sound hreat for the hot summer months. The kara age sounds so interesting! I neve rthought of filling my kara age or nuggets with tartar sauce. I think esecially if you take these to a picknic it would be great.
I'm going to try making the burger at home. I can;t eat bread right now so a great idea!
I usually go ro 7/11 because of the ATM there. but I like the lawson products as well
