I have included all 185 episodes of the Syndicated Series of SCTV. Please note that the Syndicated Series has material not available on the current crop of DVDs, and also that the DVDs have material not available in the Syndicated Series. Please note that there is also material not available in either.

Were I lived we didn't have SCTV until around 1980 . I thought SNL was so great . When we started getting SCTV reruns from its start around 1976 into the 1980s , SCTV made SNL look like mere school boys and girls . SCTV was and the reruns are way better than SNL in all of SNL's history . SNL is like beating a dead horse . It should have ended decades ago . My favorite SNL episodes were a few from the 70s and when Martin Short moved from SCTV to SNL, i.e. the Martin Short, Billy Crystal , Eddie Murphy, etc, era, very few years . i liked the character of the compulsive liar played by ? . But again , overall SCTV was and the reruns are , way better than SNL .
