Frasier was one of a kind. There wasn't a show like it before and there hasnt been one since. Perfect writing and one of the greatest ensembles ever!
Well, the NEW 2023 version comes surprisingly close. It's too bad almost no one has seen it. It has the same clever writing and quick with from Kelsey, and some of the side characters are actually quite good.i WATCH 2023 Frasier NOW!
@@thegood9 personally i find the new one boring 😮
@@thegood9 No thanks. The new one doesn't hold a candle and just plain didn't work. I'll stick with the one and only Frasier that's an iconic masterpiece.
@@kendallrivers1119 did you watch the entire season? I STRONGLY recall when the original came out, NO ONE liked the characters. The public nearly hated the show, despising most everyone on it, and wondered why they even wasted time on a "spinoff" of such a great show like "Cheers". So, I wouldn't be so quick to write this one off. The writing is spectacular, and the characters will grow on people.
@@thegood9I have watched every episode of Frasier at least 20 times a piece over the last 30 years. I've got zero qualms with the new show. Watched every episode. You get to know characters in the 1st season of any show. It really takes 4 years or 40 episodes I would say to gain mainstream. It's not completely woke in the 1st season but it could easily be ruined by the executives. Kelsey Grammer is a national treasure no matter what he pursues. David Hyde pierce also carried a heavy load. If him and Daphne arent in season 2 it could be a problem.
This show was always intelligent, funny in a very smart and good taste way and a very talented team. I miss that!!!
My favorite sitcom of all time. 😊😉 The writing was superb!!! This is why Frasier was the most successful spin off in television history!!!
It was easy to believe they were a family and we gitvto watch them. Never felt like they were characters
@@vickigonya9432 😀👍
My favorite episode was Les Freres Hereux when Frasier and Niles bought a failing upscale restaurant. The entire episode was one good laugh after another.
@@michaelgallardo5815 👍 The episode is called the Innkeepers. That is one of my favorite episodes too. When Roz goes into the kitchen all desheveled, she said big blue flash , cherries everywhere, and the way that Frasier looked at her, priceless ....I laughed so hard. 😁
@@sherryluce5780 This show is memorizing to me. I watch it at least every 3 months and start at the first episode. Who would have known that the dude from cheers would make an even greater show? I also was 9 years old and loved dear John and perfect strangers😁♥️
My husband said...oh, you know you're getting old when you watch reruns of Frasier and laugh as if it's the first time you've seen it❤❤❤
What's that joke "We'll be friends until we're old and senile, then we'll be new friends"
I do it too!
I have. I never watched the full series when it was running but the repeats are awesome!!!😂
Well that explains all the aarp ads i keep getting
You're not alone, Gretchen. I just bought the complete series because the show makes me laugh out loud.
I'll never get bored of Fraiser, the writers are brilliant & the acting is exceptional. Smartest sitcom ever written 👍👍
Best of the best!
I'm Re streaming The Frasier series for about the 10th time back to back. I watch it every night before I go to bed 💙
Frasier
I agree 1000%
Me either girl!! I also love the episode when they tried to learn how to ride a bike, and when they threw a party with the dead seal that died and washed up on the beach!! 🤣
I watch it every night from 7 til 9 o'clock on channel 5.2 it still amazes me how good the writers are 👍🏻✌🏻
Also the rapid delivery of complicated comedic dialog/text is phenomenal. They did it most times without laughing at it themselves.
Ham Radio was easily the best episode. I can watch this again and again. Just superb humor.
THEEE BEST!!
“look out! he’s got a nug!” 🤣🤣🤣
The dinner party & the seal who came for dinner were my favorite.
Coming out And Out with Dad and then HAM RADIO for me 🤠
This show is my favorite. I watch it every night as a go to sleep
Loved the show Frasier..probably the best written show to come out of America with many many great episodes and laughs, but Jane Leeves in that red dress! Wow! Push my eyes back in and slap my face!
WOW!! You obviously have never seen "Seinfeld?"
@@keithbannister9271 Frasier is objectively greater than Seinfeld.
You've obviously never seen According to jim
@keithbannister9271 Both are great but if you prefer Seinfeld idk what you're even doing here 😂
@@kendallrivers1119 🤣🤣🤣
Martin trolling everyone for the lols in The Two Mrs Cranes is hilarious and Frasier just going along with the impotency comment is pure gold.
One of my favorites😂
Best written script and great acting. I can watch these over and over and laugh. Thanks for sharing these.
Have watched all 11 seasons 3 times. Still watch it and laugh just as much as I did 18 yrs ago
Brilliant writing and a great cast. I love when shows have a family feel to it....
I watch Frasier reruns everyday ....such a mood booster
❤
Long ago we could watch Cheers, Frasier and Northern Exposure all, on Tuesday night. After work, considering the news and life back then, these were the laugh therapy sessions you needed. To top it off, there was Carson, with his headlines, 'Karnak' and animals on his desk, or in his arms. Tuesdays were the best, of the good ol' days. We needed that!
Wasn't "Cheers" on Thursday night? Those were all the best shows. And we also had Seinfeld, Golden Girls, and the nineties cast of SNL. Best television ever!
Never been a sit com like it, and there never will be again, full of wit and humour, best writing ever and superb casting ❤
This show never explained itself or it's jokes. They assumed it's viewers were smart enough to understand. What an idea!
Which we are
Yea, it didn’t dumb itself down!
@@k1773ns You clearly have excellent taste in tv shows and comment's. 🤣
??😅
The smartest of all viewers would write its jokes and its viewers (not it's jokes and it's viewers)😉
This is the greatest show ever to be on the screen. Detour and when they get bikes are absolutely phenomenal! Of course when Niles and Daphne get together is the best. I laughed and I cried
Clean, non violent, wonderful show. Still watch it, sometimes find things I did not notice, show is like an extended family in your lonely home. Love it and getting use to new episodes.
Ah good times. Will always love frasier🤗😊
I saw in one of the documentaries about the show that if you, as a writer, had Fraiser on your resume' you were gonna get hired anywhere you asked.
"Something borrowed...." is just fantastic ❤ Crying everytime.
frasier is one of the most funniest shows i ever watched
@Mistymartinez. “Frasier is one of…” most funniest ? Why the redundant second superlative ?
I loved when Frasier would match wits with Cam Winston, whenever Lilith visited, the ski lodge episode... I loved this show!!❤❤
Honorable mention: Niles and Frasier vie for president of their wine-tasting club; Niles wants to belong to a snooty, exclusive men's club; Frasier throws Julia out of his apartment; Frasier dates a supermodel but no one believes him; Frasier's first wife,"Nanny G" returns; Niles and Frasier remove a dead seal from outside Maris' beach house; Frasier dislikes the caricature drawing of him with a massive forehead, Bebe is the Devil; (and) Frasier can't stop seeing his new love as his old gym teacher.
I love Frasier! I have several episodes that I love to watch, but there's one where Bebe, Fraiser's agent, ends up spending the night with him, and Niles comes to the door. Bebe answers it and invites Niles in for breakfast. Niles rings the bell again, as if he's not seeing that!! I love the entire cast, but there's something about Niles and his humor that gets me all the time! Lol 😄 And also, on the episodes when Niles is saying a little too much, and Fraiser yells at him to shut up! Too funny! 😂😂😂
Niles made the show
I agree! ‘Niles’ & ‘Valorie’ had their own show within the show…
(Love Her stories)
This is my dads favorite show, in slot of weird ways its reflected our family as well..rest peace dad, I miss u very much..
No two people will ever agree on a top ten but these are excellent choices.
I've learnt SO MUCH from being a huge Frasier fan ❤
What a wonderful video! I highly appreciate watching your trips! I enjoy the fun as easy going people you are wonderful to watch!🙏❤️
All my favorites are here: the two Mrs. Cranes, the matchmaker, the doctor is out. Frasier was at its best in the farcical episodes!
OMG this show, I wish it could return with the same cast…..John Mahoney you were amazing! RIP John
Niles and Dad playing a couple... hilarious 😂😂
High Holidays is one of my favorites. Cracks me up every time I watch it. 😂
I still watch this show on COZI and Hulu.
One of my favorites is when Niles was in the restroom and then a shot went off. He comes out dressed in shaving cream!
I love that episode also, plus how well Niles threw himself across the kitchen when he had his hand down the waste disposal & Frasier turned on the coffee grinder. Brilliant actor.
The 'hot and foamy'
"Mixed Doubles" and "Fathers and Sons" are tied for first! I still watch Frasier every night and laugh like its the first time.
One of the best E for sure!!!
Mixed Doubles definitely a favorite. I’m drawing a blank on Fathers and Sons. I’ll have to research that one.
@@popcorn526 David Ogden Stiers returns to Seattle and visits Frasier. Roz gets Martin wondering if his late wife had an affair and that Frasier and Niles are really his kids. The scene at the piano is hilarious.
Really my favorite show of all time . Just the Best writing
Ditto
OMG 😅😅 Niles is hilarious. Comedy genius
Frasier is really the ultimate sitcom, fantastic ensemble cast, brilliant writing, intelligence with some slapstick thrown in for good measure 😂
My favorite Frasier episode ever is my coffee with Niles. I always feel that episode would work well as a one act play on stage
I love the part where Frasier asks Niles if he's in love with Daphne and Niles does a coffee spit-take all over the table! 🤣
I loved the episodes with Lilith too! 😆 How she appeared out of nowhere on Frasier’s date and turned around in chair and Frasier yelling in horror 🤣 Or how they were getting Fredrick to Marbury to name a few
best love story ever on tv
Fraiser and Hot in Cleveland were so well done! Great scripts and great actors ❤😂
This show is phenomenal.
What's amazing is that Joe Keenan wrote 5 of these, co-wrote 2 others and contributed to one more of these episodes.
This show had the best writers in America's sitcom history, hands down... Cheers was great but I doubt many would have imagined a spin-off becoming this successful... no doubt the perfect cast had a lot to do with that...
This is a solid list with some of my very faves along with A Man, a Plan and a Gal:Julia, The Inkeepers, Martin Does it His Way, Look Before You Leap, Dad Loves Sherry, The Boys Just Whine, Perspectives on Christmas, Merry Christmas, Mrs. Moskowitz, First Date, Dark Side of The Moon, Dark Victory, Three Valentines and Roz's Turn. It's no surprise that this show was the most Emmy winning tv series ever till Games of Thrones beat em by one. Though it's still the most Emmy winning sitcom ever.
I love this show. Thank you.❤
This show was so amazing! I feel like they don’t make shows like they use to!
Frasier is by far the #1 show of all time, Friends use to be but for 15+ years my wife & I jump in bed around 830/9 & fall asleep to reruns. Weve done this every single night with a few exceptions during vacation.. We can NOT wait for the Frasier Reboot..Even though itll be a different show, Frasier was a different show from Cheers.. we are stoked
Exactly! Frasier is a test to intelligence and IQ
I'm curious what you think of the reboot now that it's been out ? I heard it isn't very good and isn't doing well viewership wise. Sad but not surprising. Magic rarely repeats and lacking David Hyde Pierce, Jane Leeves, Peri Gilpin and John Mahoney killed many people's interest.
@kendallrivers1119 i went into it realizing it wont be as good as Frasier the original. Ive read mixed reviews where some critics hate it and some love it. The original is my all time fav show, but this one i like. I think itll get better and better as i wasnt a big fan of first 2 seasons of the original one. Niles/Daphne son is annoying tbh but i like everyone else and think itll become really good. Have u seen it? Thoughts?
I watched it. It’s nothing like Frasier. Can’t find the same chill for ..let say.. same audience.
Cheer was a great, well written show with great actors and so was Frasier. But this new Frasier, doesn't tick those boxes.
They didn't have the episode I was looking for. The one where Frasier says, "Oh, I'm sorry, was I snippy? I didn't realize it was too much to ask that there not be gunplay in my living room! My other favorite is Niles and his flour sack baby....I laugh so hard I cry at the one!! Niles STOLE the show if you ask me!
I was the only one in my home that was obsessed with this show. I also realized that you have to have a certain I.Q level to get these jokes. Everyone else watched friends.
I loved FRIENDS and Fraser.
Sophisticated entertainment for people who have no need to take themselves too seriously.
As everyone's mentioned, the writing was superb - everything still holds up today, nothings dated. Astonishing for a show over twenty years old. Way, way, way ahead of it's time in the depiction of gay characters. Saw actor Eric Lutes, who played Frasier's gay boss in the Matchmaker episode, at the Chevron station at Santa Monica and Westwood Boulevards. Back in the day, invited to a Memorial Day dinner at director Jimmy Burrows Beverly Hills house with my beautiful Swiss girlfriend.... the less said about Mr. Burrow's predatory behavior the better.
Pretty good list, the ski lodge is probably one of the funniest episodes ever, if not THE funniest
The Ski Lodge is also my personal favourite and number one.
Ham Radio will always be my favourite it was a great showcase for every character on the show
My boyhood in Surrey romping...
I loved all of these episodes! I have to say though, that Motor Skills is one of my favorites! But I know there isn't room for them all. The live play on the radio was brilliant!
The most cleverly written sitcom ever
For me, 'Out with Dad' is the best episode. Just sublime.
Gonna have to stop half way to is video and I really want to binge watch this series and don’t need any more surprises!!
❤this show! I used to watch with my mom in the 90’s. She got me hooked on this show n I still watch at night while falling asleep. Thank u for bringing Frazier vids to us to watch
And I got my Mom hooked! Lol...Miss those times, but will always live this show♡
i didn't know there is an older frasier crane show... whaatt this is awesome
Have you just emerged from under- rock- dwelling? 😂😂😂❤
What? Older Frasier Crane Show?
THE best series ever made!
"Roz and the shnoz" was also hilarious!!
The Ski Lodge, classic misunderstanding. love it
This was a brilliant show. Hilarious
One of the best shows ever
Niles with Maris’ German fencing instructor (Gunter?), and all the translations, was my absolute favorite.
" That's exactly what we need Niles a fourth language!"
I always wonder why writers don’t realize we viewers have a memory. One episode has Frasier knowing German, but another episode has him saying he doesn’t understand German.
Excellent list 👏👏👏🏆🏆🏆😅😂🤣👏👏👏
When those characters pretended to be someone else on a whim, they really committed to the role 😂
Just came across your channel and I LOVE it! Became an instant subscriber❤
Brilliant writers!
What about Merry Christmas Mrs. Moskowitz. It is hilarious, and certainly deserves to be one of the top Frasier shows. Can't imagine why they left it out..
I love that scene. You know the scene I'm talking about.
Absolutely love this show..
I love this show.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
One of my all time favorite shows
Didn't watch until it went to reruns. It's probably my favorite sitcom of all-time!♡ Such great writing, cast, etc. Turned my Mom onto it bc I'd wait up for her to come from work. Turned into our late night ritual. She fell in love with Niles ♡ Miss you, Mom♡
Daphne and Niles doing the tango was fantastic!
I miss this show. It had everything. I still cry watching the last show. ❤
Agree with you . Frasier is the best show ever
Niles great comedian, without him this show would have failed
Called Frasier, but Niles always seemed to steal the show!
Love this show 💕
This was real comedy.
Loved this show
Many of these are my faves too. Especially all the ones with mistaken gay identity. Such a good show. Too funny. I would've swapped out a few episodes.
In addition to the top 10 shown, I also rate these episodes as top notch - 1) Shrink Wrap, 2) Arthur Arthur, 3) She's the Boss (Mercedes Ruehl), 4) Show Were Diane Comes Back, 5) Focus Group, 6) Two Mrs. Cranes, 7) Three Dates and a Breakup, 8) Tsar is Born, 9) Whine Club, 10) Taking Liberties (Victor Garber), 11) Don Juan from Hell (Bebe Neuwirth, Shelley Long, Rita Wilson), 12) Trophy Girlfriend (Bob Hoskins), 12) Ann Who Came to Dinner (Julia Sweeney), 13) Mother Load (Cam's Flag) - many terrific guest stars.
Mercedes Ruehl was great
Even the theme song gives one a good feeling. 🎉
Most funniest episodes:
1. the ski lodge
2. Helloween
3. The Innkeepers
4. The Seal Who Came to Dinner
5. Ham Radio
6. Author, Author :-D
Definitely the Ski Lodge and The Friend
@@jeanmclean5366Niles Fire!!!
This show is classic
The absolute best!!!
The best is dr Frasier crane I love your show
One of my favorite characters was Gil Chesterton. I love the episode where he "ins himself.... We thought Deb was a cat!!!
love episodes # 2 and 1 so great!! Im surprised the episode they are all on the cruise isn't on here. a great episode!!!!
I love the hands around the frame!
Brilliant writing and a brilliant cast with perfect comic timing. Loved this show and Niles was so well played!! Tv at its best.
No “Daphne’s Room?” It must have come in at #11.
Great list. Only one I would have that I would swap with Moon Dance is Bla-Z-Boy. The rest were spot on. Best show. I always start people off with Ham Radio when they haven't seen the show before.
26:58 - when Martin Crane laughs so hard about Frasier and his boss - my most favorite moment of the entire series.
Out With Dad, one of my all time favourites!
Wish they'd play these on regular TV. Great show
The top episode isn't here - when the brothers open a restaurant!
The innkeepers (excellent episode)!
“big blue flash. cherries everywhere!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I totally agree with you! The “owning a restaurant together” episode HAS TO BE in the Top 5!!! Every time I watch that episode it’s as if I’ve never seen it before. I’m “dying laughing” each time I watch it!!!😂🤣😅😂🤣😅
Ham Radio, Voyage of the Damned, The Ski Lodge...hell pretty much anything from season 5 is comedy gold save from the very confusing Beware the Greeks episode. That one felt like it came from an alternate universe.
