I was a CO for 5 years from April 2016 to April 2021 for the state of Wyoming and you are right. The final straw on top of all the Internal politics at the DOC was covid. I couldn't deal with covid policies on top of all the stress.
It adds way more stress. And now, At least here in Arkansas, it's like it never existed. Even in the dr. Offices. Thank you for sharing with us, hope you don't have as much stress to deal with anymore.

Covid hit, inflation and missing my kids growing up to still barely make the bills and some other factors but I made the jump decided to go back to school and peruse a trade and make some major life changes it’s cool to see that I’m not alone in really taking a huge leap.👍

To be doing something so dangerous and takes so much training, it blows me away firefighters still can't make enough to support their families. I know here in Arkansas it's mostly volunteer work. I am now working in Dallas as a Management Director at a Pharmaceutical Company. I was a Pharmaceutical Rep for 16 years and I did train some new hires throughout California, so I did get to visit the west. I was raised in Church and have always considered Jesus my savior and best friend. He has done a lot in my life. I lost my oldest daughter and wife in two different automobile accidents. Then I caught spinal meningitis in one of the hospitals I was working in and almost died myself. God healed me right at death's door steps and I promised him I would give him the glory for the rest of my life. Through all I've been through he has shown me his love and compassion that I don't even deserve. Anyways, I just wanted to share with you how good he's been to me. I love your family videos. They give a warm feeling of good family living and love. Y'all have a beautiful and amazing family. Keep up the good work and always treasure every moment.

This comment really means a lot, thank you. That's what the basis of our channel is to be genuine and make videos that we can look back on when we are older. We are doing it for ourselves and the people we meet along the way are a bonus. There are a lot of amazing people out there and we just get stuck in the same rut of our lives and miss out on people or things. This channel has allowed us to make connections with people we never would have met otherwise. Pretty awesome! And the quality still isn't up to par but it has come a long way since my first videos lol. I watched one the other day and I was like whoa boy lol. Never realize how much has changed until you look back. I have a phile wright emblem on the back of my truck and I'm worried if I take it off the paint won't be the same color underneath because it's been on so Long. Wanted to make a magnet saying something and pointing at it but the bumperbsticker is a solid quote. I like it!
@None None that truck was sold at phile wright in 2018, so that logo has been on there for 5 years. Think the paint will be faded around it leaving a rectangle with the non sunbaked paint underneath?

It was like a big town with a small-town atmosphere is what I can say about most of southern California back then. I have 0 carpentry skills, but that was my dad's entire career. I'm currently filming my wife and I make a loafing shed for our donkey we bought a couple weeks ago. @@MiniAcresHomestead I got to experience it in the early 90s when I join the Marines in the stayed near camp Pendleton for a while. It was like a big town with a small-town atmosphere is what I can say about most of southern California back then. Still could be a good place if people just stop voting in self centered hypocritical communistic power-hungry morons who live for trying to divide us just for party solidification. Well that would be 3/4 of the politicians on both sides wouldn't it 🤣🤣🤣 😤😤

@@MiniAcresHomestead I know yall probably wasn't received very well in Texas or Arkansas at first and I'm sure sorry about that and I'm sure ashamed to say that I fell victim to the hysteria that it was a lefty conspiracy to bring in folks to vote in Democrats. even though I'm not living in Texas my blood and home, I sure worry for it's integrity but in doing so I forgot the fundamental thing about being a Texan and how it separates us from everyone else and that's always having good manners and never ever turn down a visitor and always make a newcomer feel at home and part of the family. please understand we're not mean it's just a case of fallen to the times which was stupid of us to do to believe social media over common danged sense. @Geronimo's Rifle not at all! We were welcomed with open arms in arkansas and even Texas when we visited there 3 times. We have some of the best friends of our lives now that we moved here to arkansas.
Being from California I'm really worried they are going to ruin arkansas, because Texas is definitly changing from what I've seen. Granted a big chunk of the people moving are like us and never want things to change there are a lot that still move and vote the same way. Blows my mind and makes 0 sense.
We are a God fearing family and we never belonged in California. We love arkansas and pray that it stays the same forever.

I'm currently filming my wife and I make a loafing shed for our donkey we bought a couple weeks ago. It by no means has any helpful tips, but more for entertainment and hopefully encourage somebody to challenge themselves with something they have no idea how to do lol
