Hey y'all, I just noticed a lot of comments informing me about the annoying crackling in the audio of my recent reactions, and I went to listen and UGH. Very painful to hear, and annoying b/c I most likely have to get a new computer, which I currently have no money to put in for. I'm currently trying to figure out a solution so I can continue on with what I do on TH-cam and Patreon. I just wanted to let y'all know that I hear y'all and am working on fixing the crackling issue! I apologize for the inconvenience. :( Have a great weekend!

SUGGESTION:
I've heard enough of the crackling to say I'm pretty sure it's digital clipping caused by the output of the MV overdriving the input of your recording software. Your iMovie or Final Cut or whatever program you are using should have a mixer window with a VU meter so you can see that the MV is getting into the red. I've explained a little more in the LE SSERAFIM reviews.

"Bon Voyage" is the 3rd and final part of the Apocalypse trilogy. The members have mentioned that it is about giving nature a break. Any encounter between human beings always has separation attached to it as well, just as death is a part of life. SuA also said that the fluffy floating thing that Dami summons from her painting is a cell. It has been named "Celly" and is adorable.
My dark mind believes that they are saying "Have a good trip" to humanity, since we are well on our way of wiping ourselves out. It's like a breakup between humanity and the earth. Once humanity is gone, nature gets the break it needs and the circle will begin again. For me, the key to understanding the lyrics is that they are singing as human beings, not as a single person. And they are singing to nature, confessing their love and the realization that we are not good for nature and that it probably resents us. It could also be the other way round (them singing as mother nature to humanity).
There are still many things I don't know. For example, why are all three titles in French. 😉 (And why are there 3 Damis with 7 shadows...)
The story of the MV seems to be that the rest of humanity has sheltered away under force fields after the apocalypse. This gives nature time to heal.
Musically I can already say this is one of their best songs for me. The chorus slaps hard, and the variations between heavy and slow are just beautiful. It has emotion and impact at the same time. Putting JiU's sweet voice together with an acoustic guitar is simply genius. We lost Leez as a producer, but the team around Ollounder did a fantastic job! And as a bass player, I can say the slap bass is crazy!
I probably won't have to tell anyone that the visuals here are out of this world. I'm going to say it anyways: The members have never looked more beautiful, and the whole team all deserve a raise!
Bonvoyage is my personal favourite out of the apocalypse series, and it's growing to become probably like my top 5 all time Dreamcatcher songs. It's just soooo good and tickles my inner web heart haha.
It feels like falling in love with them for the first time all over again.
This song and MV are INCREDIBLE. DCC said how much budget you want this time? And the girls said : ALL OF IT

The song based on the official description describes a great parting with someone special but the girls said that it's also a message or a love letter to Earth because of how much we've hurt her and it basically tells the Earth to have a break now that it's starting to heal or something like that.
But the great thing about this song is that the lyrics give you a chance to relate it to your personal experiences.
If i didn't know, they resigned their contract, this song will hit REALLY DIFFERENT, it just sounds like a goodbye song.

The fact that they won with a song that reminds of the old DC, is the cherry on top, giving such a warm feeling to the heart, knowing that they finally have been recognized for their and the staff's work.
For me this song gives hope for the future while making our past experience as the foundation for our future to grow,learn to love ourselves and people around us, the image of broken buildings are our past selves and how some of us makes mistakes or our trauma on how it crumbled us and our surroundings and our environment and the flowers growing out of these crumble building indicates that from these experiences we can still grow out like a beautiful flower have a safe journey for our future and not forget our past and use our past experiences to build a foundation for our better future self to grow and flourish....I mean thats what I got anyway

I just want to mention that about the song, they are not talking to a person, they are talk to the EARTH as our planet and about their relationship well our relationship with EARTH. Like we hurt the Earth but we still love the Earth something like that. Also, the white kinda fluffy thing is a cell/seed of the Earth.

No surprise but this comeback is amazing. DC topping their game once more while they are already so talented. Switching parts between members for the choruses make them shine and show their versatility.
As other Somnies already said, the dance practice is out and it would be great if you react to it as it is quite different from usual DC. There's also the showcase on their official channel which seems safe to react to and where you can here their top tier vocals.
Siyeon's first chorus look where she's shielding SuA is my phone background. It's too amazing not to use. I've also got Handong and Gahyeon. (Really I haven't settled on one member as a background because I keep changing it every f^%&ing hour because this music video is shot so beautifully and I can't decide and settle on one shot.)
For a current female girl group with the 2nd highest average number of song releases per year, it sure feels like a long time every time between each releases. Shows how much we crave DC music contents 🤣

The fact their using red as the reference color to the circle, to me, signifies and ending, a stoppage point. To me, Bon Voyage signifies the message of Vision got through to the public and we've began saving the planet (unlike reality...) and we need to allow Mother Nature to move forward naturally without our intervention. We're telling Mother Nature Bon Voyage, but we still love her, our cells, our bodies, are drawn to the earth, our home, and since Bon Voyage isn't a statement meant to be a permanent goodbye, I feel like they couldn't have picked a better title.

One thing that I want to pointed out is that this song is the final trilogy of the Apocalypse album, which talks about saving the earth. "You" in this song is a personification of the earth, the mother nature and "I" is referring to us, human, the humanity.
Essentially, in my opinion they talk about leaving the planet and going on an adventure to look for a new place, new home so that the earth has chance to heal itself. So that, they wished earth to say Bon Voyage to them, to humanity.
I love that you get the idea of "red circles" lyrics in the chorus. Yes, it's as in circling the calendar for holidays but in this case it's not us that getting the holidays, it's the earth thus, we need to leave. It's to show that even if they don't, we LOVE the earth ❤
Thats why i love reaction videos where everyone explains what they felt about the video / concept / theory. Listening from different perspectives makes me love the song even more as it is very meaningful.
The song is sad and hopeful at the same time. Bon Voyage, have a good journey until we meet again. I imagine people leaving Earth in spaceship looking back sadly on our damaged Earth and thinking, wish us a bon voyage and we hope to meet again in a future where the damage we have done is healed. We don't know if you love us, but we love you.

Great reaction. They look at their best in this new era, this song is powerful and sweet. I love that Dami is singing and her rapping is melodic (in Propose too I recall) it works better for me. The french pronounciation is just "Bon" (no N sound because Voyage doesn't start with a vowel).

Well, I know in some cultures in that area of the world, drawing a red circle means a fateful encounter between two people. So, it could mean the fateful encounter between Dreamcatcher and InSomnia
Is it just me, or is the English translation more than a bit hard to understand? Not just the language, only one or two real errors there, but the cultural context. Is it easier to understand from the Korean?
Bon voyage is anyon kaseyo rather than kyeseyo, right? So they're not leaving, but maybe they're packaging all the light colors into the "(natural/crude) white feeling" that is the fuzzy, floating, white seed with the three alien eyes, no? I think I just got that. They're sending it into space to colonize other worlds or something. The marking of red circles means they're marking dates on the calendar as important, as any day could be their last as they allude to elsewhere in the lyrics. Circles suggest hugs to me, so this might explain the weird lyrics about saying hi and hugging the tomorrow that will unfold for you. They're advising the seed, no?
