Acute Inflammation and Leukocyte Recruitment

  • As acute inflammation progresses your body must recruit leukocytes to deal with microbes or necrotic tissue at a site of injury.
    This video discusses how dilation of blood vessels, in combination with increases in vessel permeability, leads to the recruitment of leukocytes.
