Yeah the Big Muff π is legendary but also a joke by Mike Matthews. I didn`t expect it to be this big when I unboxed it. The Warlow Fuzz seems to be a legit successor in my ears.
I've wanted to try out JPTR's pedals for ages now, alas a bit out of my price range right now. But that sounds damn good, definitely going on my pedal want list!
That little Jam reminds me of the sounds of dial-up modem (in all the best ways), but with more gain. Love JPTR FX's got the Eternal Youth on my board, sure can't dial all the knobs on that one, the volume out of that pedal can blow up my house.
Those are neutrik jacks, my dude. Other, closed jacks only look better, but are way more breakable. I’d take these over any other jack any day. That was my only gripe with this video, the rest was pure gold 😊
God damn, JPTR make some awesome pedals. I even like that weird one with the springs on it that seems to exist for no reason other than to make hideous clanging noises. Hang on, is that y the one you recorded while dragging it behind your car? Glorious stuff.
Been on a Big Muff journey for a while now.... I got a Warlow 2 days ago .... Its so much fun, its now welded to my pedal board, SO MUCH FUN! What is that SG your playing?
My 1st pedal was a big muff 1978or9ish! Still have it!! Don't use it! Now I remember why! Lol! I now purfur tube screamers! Stacked even better! Thanks that was fun! Kind of?!?!lol!!!
If that Muff is not true bypass it must be from 2000-2001. I have one and it sounds nothing like any of my other Muffs: thin and trebly or, as you said, muffled. All my others sound much closer to the Warlow. I'd be interested to hear it against a version 10 XO Little Big Muff Pi.
Congratulations! This is the second decent video you've produced since dragging a strat body from your car. It's about time. Cheers and good luck with maybe more to come, hopefully? Who cares anyway.
With the Big Muff together they sounded like Absolute Destruction from Death by Audio. Loved it.
i could have played it for a LOT longer :D

I adore my big muff pi but this seems to be an improvement. Further testing is needed

This could be your first!
@@TheGuitarGeek I'm very tempted by it, would look and sound great with my other little pedal friends!
Dude,
Your channel is super awesome it makes me happy. Thank you for sharing your fun loving spirit, and awesome guitar riffage.
Cheers Steve! Keep those riffs flowing

Couldn't agree more!

Anything JPTR FX🐲 is fantastic!
True so far!
What a beautiful pedal. It could f**k my ears anytime!

Hey! welcome to the warlow club.
Here is a link to the SG thmn.to/thoprod/433158?offid=1&affid=288
Warlow might be working with similar components as the Fulltone Queen Bee.
You look like a happy man playing this pedal!
Oh I really was and still am
Good stuff!
Cheers

@@TheGuitarGeek I'll trade you for a prs se paul's guitar!
That’s one anarchical pedal Andy. But a nicely controlled one. Fantastic 😀👍👍
The only weapon I need
DUDE! I use the same picks!!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
That’s because they are the best 😂 did you get your answer?
The only weapon you need...Jeeeez
Don’t bring a gun/knife to a fuzz fight!
Awesome song! Great personality going here btw
Wow you have opened the pedal an read the chip model... I like it!
Thanks very much! Yeah I try and remember to open all pedals.

@@TheGuitarGeek nice one mate.

@@TheGuitarGeek too late !!!

Both sound like my data corrupter sweeet
I thought Andy'd been told in no uncertain terms that he wasn't allowed to get haircuts any more.
It’s true! My neck was beginning to hurt due to the weight though 😉
@@TheGuitarGeek bwhahaha just admit the missus told you to get a trim !! Side note - Warlow sounds great
The Warlow sounds way too fizzy to me. I like the more "muted" thicker sound of the original Muff. Maybe that's just the "boomer" in me, so ... ?
it's a pretty cool pedal and all but it looks like they kind of ripped off the big muff magnum pi design
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz another fuzz pedal.
aww Chris... What would you prefer?
Too subjective.... If you want the classic Muff nope it doesn't cut it. If you want something different then yes.
My big muff pi will stay in the box from
Now on. This is an improvement
@@TheGuitarGeek Sounds like it was already in the box....
Incredible sound!
Truly wonderful. I smiled a LOT
Damnit, missed the premier.
Also,
damnit, the GAS has been ignited.
tick tick... BOOM!
@Howard Dominick yea, I have been using InstaFlixxer for months myself :D
