This was so helpful! We have about $2000 to spend on getting started with a mini home gym and thanks to all your videos we are going to go with a concept 2 and the tempo move! Thank you!
I got the Tempo Move after watching your first review of it. I have had it for a month or so and I really like it. The hardware is very good quality and the software works well. Also, the instructors are excellent. I did find that the rep count doesn’t work when you do alternating arm exercises. It only counted reps when I did both arms at the same time. Hopefully they will fix that. Finally, there are a couple of things I wish Tempo Move would do: 1. Recommend the appropriate weight to use 2. Provide a few more stats.
Glad you enjoy it and good to hear your feedback. I think the Tempo Move does recommend weights but it doesn’t seem clearly communicated as it does with the Studio, so hopefully that will be improved on. Same with stat tracking, as it is very well done on the studio (and they are testing more improvements in beta) which I’m hoping will be on the move soon as well. I’m optimistic based on my experience with the Studio that we will see a lot of improvements in the coming months. 🤞
Great review! I’m a current Tempo Studio owner who is contemplating getting the Move because of the great price (plus one membership allows you to have one Studio plus one Move so no extra monthly cost to add it).
This is the one I had the pleasure of getting off of Facebook Marketplace. The lady wanted $350, but I told her I would give her $300. She accepted. For $300 I even got the blue plates that are 10lbs. You usually have to go up to a different package or buy them separately. I am just trying to get extra dumbbells. This way I can use more than one dumbbell set at a time. The dumbbells it comes with have a nice weight to them. I can tell they will last a long time. At the time of me writing this, it cost quite a bit more than you said in the video $597, I believe. This is with the sale. Without it, it is around $963. 10lb plates not included. I love this set and use almost every day. So, thank God for people who buy things and don't use them.
Very excited about this! I have to be honest, one of the main reasons I bought it was because of the form check. Good to know that I shouldn’t rely on it.
Thanks for posting this review. Definitely helped with the buying decision. I'm hoping we can plug it into our iMac rather than a TV using a HDMI-USB adapter. We don't have a TV in the room we'll use for workouts.
So I use the down dog app, and being that this can use other subscriptions would I be able to play my Down dog videos via the tv connecting it to the power station?
Which model iPhone did you use? Anyone notice performance issues with the list of compatible phones? Not all phones have the same front facing camera/lidar, right? You mentioned the camera not being able to detect you in low light, is that true for all models? I'm currently an android user (which is why I'm asking nerdy questions), I'm wondering if I can buy a used XR and get by until they integrate android compatibility. I know they have the Tempo Fit app, but that doesn't connect to the Move, correct? Thanks for any feedback.
I have a 12 pro which does have LIDAR but that isn’t used by Tempo at this point. I’m pretty confident that performance should be pretty similar across all phones for now… so I would get the cheapest phone possible that works with it if it is only for the Tempo until they integrate Android compatibility (which unfortunately I do not think will be a quick process)
Thank you for your review, it helped me make the decision to purchase the move. I tried using your affiliate link and code, but it is not working (Enter a valid discount code)
What do you think about the Tempo Move?

Great review. I am planning to buy I have question on equipment after one year do we get to keep the equipment or need to send it back?

Just out of curiosity why would you need/want the move if you have the studio?
Thank you so much for sharing your concerns as well as what you like about the tempo move

Hope you like it! The form feedback definitely has a ton of potential so hopefully it’ll be good overtime!

I do this as well using an elgato cam-link.
Why doesn’t this have all the classes of the Studio product? Your explanation glossed over it
From my understanding it is how they filmed the classes. The Tempo move used a horizontal video whereas the studio uses a vertical one.
Does it come with a mat?
thanks for the review, just picked one up as my first connected fitness product.
be sure to emphasize your referral code!

Yup! I use it to connect a bunch of various fitness apps to the tv 👍
What is better tempo move or peloton guide?
Video coming tomorrow…

the tempo move doesn't use LiDAR (yet), it uses the tech in the Face ID notch. So, yeah, you can get a used XR and be good to go.
Hi, thank you for the review!! Can you use your own dumbbell with the dumbbell classes or is there is no option for it on the Move at this point?
Thank you for your review, it helped me make the decision to purchase the move. I tried using your affiliate link and code, but it is not working (Enter a valid discount code)
thanks and yes sorry about the code, It must have expired
Helpful!
