•MONTEFERRO , in Nigrán, is a tongue of land and rock that juts almost 1.5 km into the sea and occupies an area of ​​more than 100 hectares. Almost the entire mound, which rises 147 meters, is occupied by forest area in which pine and eucalyptus trees stand out.
"Ferro" means iron, and the name of this small mountain is due to the abundance of this mineral.
It's also a abandoned military base before..
