Apparently DRS are not providing locos anymore for Peak shunts as they need the locos for other services especially after losing 66301 to 305. Shame as that's it for 716 growling but hopefully it will be seen on some revenue services.
Is this just bad driving , or is the governor screwed? Seems like an awful waste of power and fuel ..... why not just set a notch and leave it there?? I couldn't drive this 🙂 Gregg.

Just back into normal services for DRS I've heard. The contract has stopped for DRS providing shunt locos for Peak Forest. So the 66 will go as well.
