Great to see a Pair of Grids on my local Parish, reminded me of the 80's in S.Wales when they took over from 3x37's on the Llanwern Iron Ore , nice pair of Choppers too on shunting duties they also were quite common here on the Tunstead workings in the 80's amongst other vintage traction.
Thank you very much for the comment, well worth the last minute dash the night before to bag these two fine machines in action, the bonus and also the let down were the 20s coming out to play with them dropping down so far it eliminated the sound of the 56s departing.
Thank you for the kind words, trying to film this as well as capture photos as well is a good challenge, glad I did the last minute decision to head up
Thanks for the comment and subscription, I’m a bit behind on footage from this year with changing jobs and sorting a new Hard drive but there will be some more content coming soon
Hi, thanks for the video. Can you, by any means, inform me why this time 2 Class 56 were needed for this load? I would think one Class 56 could have done all the shunting as well.
Thank you for watching and commenting, it was allocated the pair the day before. One could have easily made it on the whole trip by all means but I’m not complaining
Thank you for watching and commenting, The photos were taken using my Fujifilm XT30 mirrorless camera, video footage in this from both my iPhone 12 Pro Max and my Sony AX53-HDR 4k video camera.
Class56 steaming very enviromentally friendly!!!
So nice to some freight trains on TH-cam 👍

them choppers sound nice 🔊🥰😍🤩
Nice footage of some classic traction.
You have a well-deserved “Like” and a new subscriber.
Thank you watching, liking and subscribing, I have more footage to come from this year I have yet to upload due to changing jobs etc 👌
Yes man, film of the year, almost a pity the 20s were drowning out 56s! Classic traction all at once. Reminded me of Worksop 30 years ago!
Thank you.

listen to that sheer power of 2 56/s wow
Thank you for the comment, if the 20s had stayed behind the bridge the sound of the 56s would have been a lot louder
An atmospheric ending, diesel fumes filling the frame and the sound of engines working away.

I’m lucky enough to have worked on track there in 2019 , Network rail was doing some lifting and packing jobs in the sidings near the signal box .
Superb footage, thank you for sharing. Now subscribed entertainment sorted for the weekend 👍
