0:31 I think I can. This band calls us back to an ancient primal ancestry that we all share, though it may vary from region to region and culture to culture.

Idek what it is about the ending it’s so vague really cause everyone’s gone perceive and interpret it differently but it always, just fills me with such a profound sense of joy and peace it brings tears to my eyes 🥲 this was absolutely amazing live too, Heilung are phenomenal

so difficult to collect my thoughts....I am amazed, frightened, hopeful, feeling mortal, wanting to pray to some deity........I believe these are the emotions Maria and the band hope to elicit from the audience.........I can imagine these are EXACTLY the sounds made by pre-Christian Norse shaman, priests and warriors......I believe the language is a proto-Germanic ( or Scandinavian ) dialect.....note that the ritual takes place under an eclipse in the sky.......I like to think the ending shows Anoana merging with the ox in a perpetuation of nature in the circle of life....they make their costumes and instruments........

The language is proto Germanic/Scandanavian not made up.

@@dracusmoon4822 OK.......do you know what ancient texts are the basis for the lyrics? not picking a fight, I was a History major in college and like to know these things.....thanks

The lyrics and story are taken from inscriptions on ancient amulets and coins. The inscriptions are in Elder Futhark , the child born under an eclipse is magical and is said to do healings, shape-shift, dislocate into different ages and places. Just my general knowledge of Norse mythology, I am rather more Celtic oriented but love all Elder Knowledge.@@larryc3860

Little things often overlooked in the video are the ring of mushrooms the little girl is sitting within at the beginning. The little magic mushroom the shaman eats during the birthing. The 2 eclipses. The reanimation or rebirth of the bird in the hands of the little girl. The runestaves written upon the belly of the pregnant woman. Lots of fun stuff.

I love the moment when the litttle girl touches the water drop on the leaf with her tongue.Cinematic genius, never mentioned.

The high pitched part that Maria Franz sings as the transition part of the song is an ancient herding call that Scandinavian/Nordic women would call in their herds of cattle, sheep, and other livestock from distances called Kulning.

I don't know what it is about the moment the drone comes in (1:02 in this vid), no matter how many times I hear it I can feel my shoulders let go of a tension I didn't even know was there

Might take a look at Maria and Chris in one of their other projects. The band is Songleikr with their song Ulvetime (Hour of the Wolf). th-cam.com/video/FF9mtpw365c/w-d-xo.html

Mushrooms fruiting in rings like she was sitting in as a child are associated with magic and mysticism. In particular the mushrooms she's sitting in are Earthball mushrooms in the genus Scleroderma

Thanks to having that damn album on a loop quite often, I immediately hear the beginning of "Tenet" queue up at the end of this video.
