i had the pleasure and privilege of seeing Heilung live for the first time about three weeks ago in the USA. The place was packed, and the crowd was so so into it...wolf howls and bird calls from lots of people in the audience in the brief moments between songs. A truly spiritual and emotional experience for me. The "blood moon" behind her is actually a large drum (played during some songs) that the core members named "Blod". It's smeared with the blood of Maria, Chris, and Kai, and handmade from natural materials (like all their drums).
I was at this Ritual myself that's in the Video and number one being in that audience to the magic that was being laid out on stage was truly mesmerising. Secondly your reaction is super genuine and exactly my own listening to this song. I can confirm that Heilung is going to be releasing this entire Ritual as there next Lifa album. So yes every song will be released on TH-cam eventually.
I saw them live twice in three days just two weeks ago. The aura of their show is still with me. It does something to you. Something deep. I'm sure there's a rational psychological explanation, but you truly feel something awaken inside of you when you see them live.
This came from the first part of the current tour, from London. I saw their ritual this last week in Denver, CO. This is what it was like, only difference is sound is cleaner in the video, tapped directly from the mix board. It looked like a forest around them on stage. That circle behind Maria is actually a drum and they played it several times during the night.
I'm of the same opinion, they are a group who I absolutely have to see live, and I missed out because I first found their music just as the world went into lockdown so had to wait for them to start touring again. And I'm doubly gutted because I missed this very performance through illness when they played London this time last year! With their recently announced German tour coming up this summer, we're going to be travelling across Europe to attend the ritual in Berlin. Worth every penny for an experience like that!
The high pitched part that Maria Franz sings as the transition part of the song is an ancient herding call that Scandinavian/Nordic women would call in their herds of cattle, sheep, and other livestock from distances called Kulning.
great reaction... and i know the love south americans have for music... my wife is peruvian and i lived 5 years in lima... i saw there a few concerts too and it was ever such a great experiance, because south americans sing from the first second the songs with the groups and dance too it... in europe the people must be first drunk or stoned too do it... so sad...
The way my jaw dropped when she took the chorus an entire octave up towards the end. Goosebumps.
Yeah, so damn good.
One can always tell when something is powerfully moving & beautiful by the way that it easily brings tears to one's eyes from the sheer beauty of it.

Was this in Greensboro NC? There was a guy in a kilt who kept prompting the crowd to howl. The show was spectacular!
