Thanks for the tutorial on the MPC 2500...I remember I bought the DVDs for MPC 1000 from you back in 2005.Great Stuff.Appreciate you putting on youtube.
I’ve been gifted a 2500 and am struggling! It’s got JJOSXL 3.45 installed. Does the machine function quite differently using the jjos? You seem to be able to tap away and samples are already loaded. I’m not sure mine has any factory inbuilt samples whatsoever. Was hoping to reverse engineer some beats and learn that way but it’s a clean slate!!! Ha ha. Any recommendations for other tuts.
@@TheDavidKettle between this and the owners manual, you will be straight. Honestly, if you don’t have a history of using MPC’s, read the manual. It’s like 130 pages but its not dense, like a half or 1/3 a real page. Once you know how to use it, then you can switch to production tutorials. One thing to note: all .wav files that you import have to be 16 bit 44100kz. If they aren’t that bit rate they won’t play
Appreciate taking the time to record this ! Helped me a lot

Love the old school camcorder quality, made it 10x more engaging and authentic. Excellent video my friend, God bless and Merry Christmas!

Thank you.
Currently using Ableton with Scarlett 2i2 audio interface... Would I need a need interface to handle the 8 cables?
🔥🔥🔥
Thanks Bro we try.
Dose it have a built in speaker?
No way. Use the stereo outs to run into a pair of studio monitors.
@@Theory52 is there any way in grid edit that you can move your samples that you slice

How comes everyone I try record something it is always records over wat I try record how do I stop this?
Save what you recorded then take a new one.
There should be an alternate edition for JJOSXL.
Wish I could do one ain’t got that mov anymore.
@@SampleKingsVideos Why not make a new one 😎?! Or would this mean way too much effort?
