This has got to be the easiest air filter replacement on any car ever. I've changed the cabin filter for a 11 altima and 16 fusion. Both were hell.
But of those, the 11 altima is by far the worst. I gave up trying to put that stupid clip and and left it loose in the car
I agree your last two vehicles have a poor design but Toyota knows how to make things easy for DIY.
The face of the housing tray shows the word UP and an Arrow pointing Up. But is the Air FIlter AIR-Flow supposed to be DOWN?
If you have and OE filter it will just say UP on the side so that filter is not paying attention to the air flow and should have the arrow pointing up. If it is an aftermarket filter it will say air flow on the side with an arrow. The air flows down so this filter should have the arrow pointing down.
Just changed mine. How often should I change them?
The cabin air filter should be changed once a year or every 15,000 miles.
Our Camry 2003 doesn't have that White Plastic housing The cabin filter???
It should have come with one. You can get a new one from your local dealer.
