The lane assist is not annoying.. drivers who change lane without signal are freaking annoying and dangerous.. it is not an excuse for not signalling at night.. what kind of logic is that..
i find Julian and other guys did really good job in reviewing the car... and the 'rubbishxxx' words really makes the review very authentic of someone speaking of his mind, instead of sugarcoating stuff...
Between go try & will buy. The front looks good esp the headlights. Very practical with numerous cubby holes and USB ports & looks comfy esp the wide sunroof. And ventilated seats! Lol. Julian, u must buy! 😆
How on earth the car can only fit 4 of Jon with the seats all knocked down, but 5 of him with the seats all upright in its position??!! 🤣🤣 nice car n good review btw 👍👍

To be fair, he isn’t here as a Kia Product Representative who needs to know every detail of the variant, keeping himself layman yet engaging is the key. What we audience want is an honest & fun review, not a detailed product walkthrough. Well, you can never please everyone, but keep it up SGCM. Appreciate the reviews! 👍🏼

For a car reviewer, and he doesn't know what is Urea level. Hmm..... that's why you need competition even for car review website. This is what's happening when there's no competition.
Do the end user needs to know what is a diesel snorting urea level is? If not then there's no need to worry about it. The review is fine this is a family car and this review fits just that.
Hi just watched your review. This is what I think having a moonroof/sunroof or whatever we may call it. It is unnecessary in our climate where it's all hot and super rainy. I have a sonata which has sunroof and really do not like it. The sliding mechanism tends to fail after sometimes and very costly to replace. Some more due to harsh weather, the rubber seal around the glass roof may loose and eventually leakage.
The third row comes with AC vents (and temperature controls!) in all variants here. The test car was an early import so they didn't have time to fit it.

hmm definitely not the cheapest 7 seater SUV in the market. there are Mitsubishi Outlander, Peugeot 5008, Nissan X-trail.. then maybe the SKODA Kodiaq and Seat tarraco
I have to say, KIA is solidly built and safe as I have had a bad rear end accident in my my KIA shortage by a land cruiser in Malaysia and I cold still drive the car back to Singapore..
I'm going bet that even if the USB ports were below the air vents only it would have still been possible to place the phone on the centre console or back pocket.
I think the cheaper one does not come with the meter digital screen and no mood lighting and if i can remember no sun roof too..unless c n c have change the spec..then for sure 10k less is worth saving.but without those spec that i mention i feel i will pay 10k for those stuffs.
This host is a failure!! Nvr do his research thoroughly! Shld have with the AD check why no aircon vents?? Cos one of the selling points for Sorento is it comes with 3rd row aur con vents! Fails totally!
Great review. Next time please review the entry into the car, especially for an SUV. Due to the height some elderly may struggle to get into the car. Good to cover that as well.

Kia Sorento 2021,GLB B class, CX-8. Which one would you choose? I gotta admit that this ride will be one of the more popular option for anyone who wants to upsize from 5 Seater to 7 seater.
GLB 200 is way too expensive for what it offers - its just the brand. The new Sorento i've tried it myself, if i blind folded u and put you in it, you'de think its a german car

I like a 7 seater car that actually fits 3 ppl in the middle seat. more practical use of boot space when you wants to use a 5seater. and seats that can actually folds flat so shopping at IKea comes in handy. But yes can't afford that car price. hahaha. I can also go without the sunroof. And that would probably reduce the price?

Will KIA be bringing in the 1.6T hybrid to complement SG market? 2.2T is a huge turnoff due to the high roadtax.

Urea Level is called Adblue , in mercedes e220d diesel engine is called Adblue

Diesel cars I skip cos the repair may cost even more than petrol car in future.
Then why diesel is preferred for commercial car if repair cost is higher? I am assuming higher mileage = more repairs?
