Sorry correction - Outside on counter
You can leave it outside , else it will not ferment if you keep in the refrigerator

Which flour needs to be added? Wheat or maida

Mam plz tell me that i hv add soda and turmeric for clour but after fermentation my dough became orange in clour and my buns were not cooked poropply can u tell me y 😢😢i hv add half cup flour nd 1/2 table spoon soda

@@MapleKitchenI think that is fine. It’s not just in mangalore but it’s famous in coastal region of Karnataka and coastal region is not just Mangalore. It’s Dakshina and Uttara Kannada. It’s invented in Udupi Matt not in Mangalore
I am from coastal Karnataka, and from years we are making this and call it as buns, even in the shops. But not sure why it’s termed as Mangalore buns may be coz mangalore is more famous than other coastal places. And Bangalore hotels simply called it ‘Mangalore buns’ may be they don’t know it’s not just Mangalore stuff. I heard this term only in Bangalore where in they think coastal means Mangalore. So u don’t have to be sorry
