    Welcome to Sukshema Kitchen! This video presents Buns, a popular banana and milk based sweet breakfast from the west coast of India. This recipe is a popular breakfast and evening snack (with tea) in Karnataka, Goa, and Kerala. Any tea shop in these parts will have Buns ready to serve during most part of the day.
    The buns are mild sweet, soft fluffy puris made using all purpose flour and banana. Typically served with a spicy coconut chutney and sambar. They also taste great without any accompaniment.
    Ingredients:
    Two large fully ripe bananas. Robusta are perfect.
    2 spoons Curds.
    3/4 cup Sugar.
    1 spoon fennel (Saunf)
    1/2 cup Milk
    Pinch of salt.
    1/4 spoon Cooking Soda, 2 spoons Refined Oil.
    5 cups Maida.
    Total Preparation Time = 10 hours, 30mins. Breakdown: 15 mins mixing + 10 hours rest + 15 min to flatten and fry.
    Storage and Consumption: Best consumed when hot. Can be stored for a day.
