Parliament Speaker blocks debate on excessive spending

The speaker of parliament Anita Among has vowed never to answer to accusations levied against her on social media, over abuse of office and corruption tendencies. In a terse statement to the house today, the speaker labeled the accusation hearsay. The comment followed a motion by the leader of the opposition Joel Senyonyi, who was moved by an expose aired on the social media app X called Parliamentary Exhibition.
