Hey just an idea for your tire changer. Mount it in the corner of the pallet to give yourself more room. Also ALWAYS ALWAYS use lube to both take the tire off and put on. It will save you alot of work. I use water and dawn dish soap in a spray bottle
My Aunt was living in northern New Jersey when Tropical Storm Sandy struck more than a decade ago now. She, at age 94, was without power for 29 days. I got there on day 4... and was able to provide power to her essential loads with my vehicle. She was pleased to have a hot cup of coffee... tho all the food in her fridge and freezer had already gone bad. She wasn't much for chopping firewood... but she did have a fireplace... so we heated her house that way and cooked with power generated by my vehicle and a 3500 watt inverter. You have a great situation... a backup and then backups to your backups... it's like you not only have plan B... but plans C thru Z. Thanks for sharing your ideas with us. If you ever do have to weather a storm, let us know how things go.
Having that multi-functional PTO generator will bring significant peace of mind, especially with challenging times ahead. Put a value on that, in addition to the financially valuable asset you now have and the project seems well worth the effort.
What a great video my friend you really know what you are doing and it’s so good that you’re doing it and sharing it with us all and as always god bless you and your family always stay safe and healthy always many thanks c u in the next one.
Evan, a couple of tips from an old guy. I had a portable welder that had two 220 volt outlets and two 110 volt outlets. I could use the two 110s while I was welding for a grinder and lights. The generator was twice the size of yours and it was a 250 amp welder. It all was powered by a 20 hp Onan that did it effortlessly. Also when you are dismounting tires you need to lubricate the beads with soapy water, preferably dish soap. We love your channel immensely. Art & Melissa from Ohio
You did a great job !!! Love watching how you take things apart, clean them up and put it back together. We learn so much from you !! Thanks!! How is the pond doing with the duckweed ?
Awesome setup. I would suggest that you reinforce your mounting bracket for the welder. Bouncing down the driveway or across a field will break those two bolts. Great video.
Thank you Evan for sharing your project with us. I enjoy it when you get an interesting item at an auction then repair, rejuvenate and update into a usable piece of equipment. What you do I am sure inspires many homesteaders to persevere. I certainly am encouraged by your ingenuity. Thanks again and be well, safe and blessed. You and Rebecca are very entertaining and encouraging. ☝️🙏🙌💪🤠🇺🇸❤️🎯
Fantastic work on the generator Evan. I like what you did there, well worth the effort, I think it was the right thing to do! Good luck with running the house on it, looking forward to that video. Thanks and have a good evening and great Friday!
I have the exact same generator. I made the trailer that the generator sits on. I extended a hitch out the back so I could tow a trailer if I needed a bunch of electric tools. I also made a bracket that ataches to the hitch so that I can set my welder on if I just need my welder. I put a 60 amp range cord into a small panel box with a few 110 volt and 220 volt outlets. I could do minor repairs away from the shop. When I was diary farming it would start and run my 7 1/2 HP electric feed grinder.
Hint for changing tires. Mix up a little Dishwashing liquid and water, make it a little thick and a paint brush apply it to the beads . They will be a lot easier to dismount and mount. Good job really like your videos. Have a good day.
Great job. The ice storm that hit most of the Midwest in early 78, we used a PTO generator at my sisters house because the sump pump ran a lot. Saved us from flooding! Looks very good. Very talented and just what a farmstead needs! Thanks for sharing. Brings back a lot of memories!
Projects that aren't 100% done are my trademark! Nice work on this one... and all your other projects. They may not be complete but they are still worth doing!
Absolutely loved this video. ** not yelling REMIND US WHAT YOU PAID FOR THE GENERATOR AND COMPARE IT TO WHAT TODAY'S COST WOULD BE. I have said before that I love your commitment to the old equipment. This is an awesome example...
Hey Evan, great job! How about making a pallet with some square steel tubing and steel plating to mount your tire changer to? It'll be heavier to avoid movement and stronger to avoid tearing loose.
You have become a really good presenter Evan. You are much more comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. Congratulations! I think the color on the wheels was old school DOT Caution yellow. Glad you painted the wheels! I dig the white walls 🤗 What is your day job? (In general terms). You have skills in so many areas. Very slick carrier. Has all the features you wanted and no waste. Good job. Well done! I'm sure it will be very handy around the farm. Pretty cool that you did not have to run your little tractor at full throttle. When you did use the welder, I didn't hear any change in RPM or engine load.
My property should be named " unfinished acres " for all the unfinished projects . for your manual tire changer you should get a " duck bill " attachment for it. It will make it work much better.
The effort to clean it up was well worth it if you ask me. It went from looking like trash you pulled out of a hole somewhere to a beautiful little multi-purpose rig. I really questioned your decision when you brought that sucker home from the auction. I would have put money on that thing making noise and noise alone, not electrical power. Shows what I know!
Nice PTO generator. It's a good unit to have. 14:00 Technically you could run it with the T654 and use either the 750 (540 Eco) or the 1000 PTO speeds and just run the engine at lower RPM. 16:00 The 2515 is rated at 2200 engine RPM, even though it can rev up higher. The PTO on the 2515 is also geared different that the other models so it matches the 2200 rated engine RPM. However, they did not adjust the marks on the dash. If you follow the marks on the dash, it will over spin the PTO as you found out. Not usually a big issue, but in this case with the generator is very critical.
Hi Evan, just a tip regarding the draw bar, the fact that it was bent in the first place means it's a weak point (ie no suspension). Maybe, no not maybe, you should have welded a strengthening angle under the draw bar so it stays straight this time. Love your format.
When I farmed, I had a 10.000 Watt Winpower generator on the same trailor you have. During a power outage we ran a whole Ehectric heated house while cooking an Easter dinner ( two ovens going - turkey and Ham) and never had a problem. I was using a Farmall H that had a week cylinder and was not up to par. I think Winpower under rates there generators. I also Used it as a portable welder for in the field repairs with a Forney 180 amp stick welder. It worked great. Good unit. On my farm sail it brought more tham I paid for it.
Super job on the renovation of your generator. Probably one of the most important pieces of equipment to have available to use when you live on a farm. Especially if and when the power goes out. Maybe you could call it “Little Reddy” 😊
The pallet tire machine is a great idea. I have moved mine around the shop so many times it finally went out the door. Always in a bad spot, even in the best spot.
Hey just an idea for your tire changer. Mount it in the corner of the pallet to give yourself more room. Also ALWAYS ALWAYS use lube to both take the tire off and put on. It will save you alot of work. I use water and dawn dish soap in a spray bottle
I was going to say the same thing. Definitely use soapy water for lubrication.

Wonderful work, colleague👈👍😉

Awesome tool to have on a farm Incase it’s needed in the FEILD for a equipment repair. ! Looks great !!
Nice job, My late husband use to only finish to 3/4 every dam thing he worked on, Drove me nuts , and he was very handy like you with fixing things ,
The man with all the toys, After hurricane Ian here in Florida and no power for 4 weeks this would have helped better than the generators we used.
Your knowledge amazes me!
Really satisfying to watch… love the channel
Another great job, Evan. Nice sweatshirt.
Your vlogs are relaxing Evan thanks for sharing my friend
You can also use this pto generator at your dad's house (7 miles away). Make sure your dad 240 plugs are compatible.
It is amazing what a little soapy water will do when doing tire repair. Try that next time Evan it will make the job alor easier
As you've learned Evan, machinery is ALWAYS painted when it's together!
Soapy water my friend is tire changing miracle
Looking forward to seeing this thing making some cameos.
Like the TYM hoodie, like that you did a start to finish, It looks good redone and you will say the same everytime you use it.
Very very nice Evan!
Great work on the Generator facelift it looks great.
Looks good. A lot better all painted up than if you had left it ‘as is’.
Evan, you may mess up projects sometimes, but all your projects look great when you finish.👍
Hi.... Evan and Rebecca thanks you for showing your video homestead bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋👍👍👍
Good job! Try a few squirts of dish washing detergent when removing tires! Less tiring (excuse the pun)😊

Real nice job. Hope that Allis project is on tap for this winter.
Personally I think this was a great project and has a great deal you can do with it now.
Great idea to redo that and add the welder for remote work. It should make you proud to get this done.
You do nice work Sir. Love your videos.

What a beautiful restoration!! ❤👍🏻
7:17 You probably already looked but the alternator's specs are at that time stamp. Love your channel Evan. Thank you!
You need to install a Digital Voltage Current Frequency Meter on that so you don't feed dirty power into your house
Thank you Evan for sharing your project with us. I enjoy it when you get an interesting item at an auction then repair, rejuvenate and update into a usable piece of equipment. Job well done Evan.
Nice job , Evan .
Fantastic work on the generator Evan. I like what you did there, well worth the effort, I think it was the right thing to do! Good luck with running the house on it, looking forward to that video. Thanks and have a good evening and great Friday!
Very nice work! Can’t go wrong with a portable welder. Congratulations!
Absolutely!

Nice project, Evan. Ol' Sparky looks really nice and should serve you well. As I was taught, any job worth doing is worth doing right! 👍
Hint for changing tires. Mix up a little Dishwashing liquid and water, make it a little thick and a paint brush apply it to the beads . They will be a lot easier to dismount and mount. Good job really like your videos. Have a good day.
I love the way you get old stuff, take it apart and make it look like new .
Nice job, it looks like it will be a nice addition to the farm.
Great job. The ice storm that hit most of the Midwest in early 78, we used a PTO generator at my sisters house because the sump pump ran a lot. Saved us from flooding! Looks very good. Very talented and just what a farmstead needs! Thanks for sharing. Brings back a lot of memories!
I remember that storm. They sold a lot of those PTO type generators. Then sold a lot of larger horsepower tractors to run the generators.
Projects that aren't 100% done are my trademark! Nice work on this one... and all your other projects. They may not be complete but they are still worth doing!
Loved the video . I enjoy seeing someone paying attention to the details and doing a topnotch job .👍
Fantastic job! Congratulations.
Looks great!

I have said before that I love your commitment to the old equipment. This is an awesome example...
Woo Hoo. Im sure you've made Pete proud with the Tractor repair and renovation.
The Gnerator will help with having a Plan A through Z,
Hey Evan, great job! How about making a pallet with some square steel tubing and steel plating to mount your tire changer to? It'll be heavier to avoid movement and stronger to avoid tearing loose.
Evan, ingenious use of an old piece of machinery, upcycling and saving from the dump.
Nice job!
Damn'' that thing looks brand new'' great job I'm impressed,👍
You have become a really good presenter Evan. You are much more comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. Congratulations!

Cool handy dandy tool.
Nice rig many uses around the farm live well God Bless from Central Kentucky.
Fun video. Great job. Would love to see more of the generator in action.
Use Dawn 50/50 with water will make it come off easer Like your vidoes
Came out real nice, good job!
My property should be named " unfinished acres " for all the unfinished projects . for your manual tire changer you should get a " duck bill " attachment for it. It will make it work much better.
Awesome little machine!
Your channel is most enjoyable. Your character is great and you never fail to put your best foot forward in all that you do. Well done.
That generator is worth its weight in Gold! Where did you find it?
Cool project, 20 kWh will run almost any welder. Glad to see it works. Thanks

That came out great and will come in handy I'm sure. It looks like you have room for a small toolbox under the PTO in front too...
Regarding the two colors of red....looks good from my house.
It’s beautiful work. It looks new and works great. I was skeptical when you bought it. Good work!
Good episode.

It’s probably not leaving the farm or going to be towed at 60 mph, but yes, it will bend far more easily now.
It was likely bent when someone turned to sharp and the tractor tire caught the drawbar.
That looks really good. Now do your hay cutter!
That’s a fantastic genset. Great work, it looks the goods.
Good video, nice to see you get a project completed, looking forward to the next video.
Should you ground the trailer with a portable rod in the ground ? Enjoying the channel. Tks for sharing.
AMEN to making this repair in one video.
Another great video Evan

Good idea on putting it on a pallet and then on the forks, I'll have to do that with mine.
It is always good to have backup. You should have been able to disengage the barn and powered that up to see.
Awesome job! Looks like an incredibly useful tool to have around and now I kind of want one too! Lol
Don’t forget the fire extinguisher
Nice job Evan will be very handy piece of kit around the farm best wishes from the UK
You are so lucky that it even generated....
It would be handy to have YOU around. LOL Great video!
You are really good at that Evan great job on the generator/ mobile welder make over..
Good job on uour project Evan ! And it looks beautiful ! Works great ! 😊

Nice work mate, nothing wrong with a bit of pride.
Love your design 😊
Looks terrific, nice job, hope you never need it to power your house!👏🏻👏🏻🇺🇸
The pallet tire machine is a great idea. I have moved mine around the shop so many times it finally went out the door. Always in a bad spot, even in the best spot.
Beautiful job
Another excellent project, job well done Evan.👌💯
Good evening Evan and Rebecca
Nice job! Way to GO!!!!!
Good work
Keep an eye on the frequency
Speaking my language, I’m the king of unfinished projects
