@@Elizabethvanderblank oh thank you! Ya, the “vinyl is final” is a big lie. I live in southern New England. It’s all old homes for the most part. When I get asked, I share my opinion that both wood and plastic siding have a life span, but out of the two, when wood gets replaced, and the old stuff goes into the dump, only wood will grow something in it when it breaks down. Also, old homes have proven that well maintained wood siding can last 50-100years. If your lucky vinyl siding will last 30 years at most. Cotton also needs to be washed a few times when new to wash the pesticides out of it.
Crazy how long this has been known already, and nobody does anything about it! I read the book "Killer Clothes" from about 12 years ago. Similar message, but super hidden. I collected my thoughts in a video on my channel, if you're interested
@@Elizabethvanderblank thanx! I checked it out and subscribed. I’m a self employed carpenter, I’m fortunate that a lot of garments for the trades are cotton, hemp and wool. I don’t even work with plastic for materials anymore and am now well stocked with gloves and masks when necessary. I tell my perspective clients that if you want it built well out of wood, I’m your guy, if you want it built out of Tupperware, there are a lot of guys to call out there that are not me.
@@sawdustadikt979 I wish we could find a carpenter like you! It is a challenge living in a historic home ,with, in my opinion some of the best wood work, finding people who share your mentality! It is frustrating, so many people give us the advice to swap out the wood for vinyl!
I love cedar shingle, it’s like an all day aromatherapy that I get paid to do.
@@sawdustadikt979 Where I live its mostly vinyl homes, so finding anyone with the know how to repair & mill our cedar siding(aromatherapy) has been near impossible. I have been told so many times how great the modern vinyl is, but it as you said, it doesn't last forever, and when you need to replace it you need to do it all, plus it ends up being tossed somewhere.. People just want the quick easy fix and do not seem to be thinking long term. I love having wood, if there is rot we can just fix that area and it has proven to work.
What about hemp clothing, does that also fall into the good category along with cotton / linen? Thanks
There is a study from 1992 proving that 14 men who wore a polyester sling became AZOOSPERMATIC within 140 days (reversible in 155 days)
Quote: "Apparently the electrostatic field effect and the disordered thermoregulatory effect of the polyester sling produced azoospermia. In conclusion, the sling is a safe, acceptable, inexpensive, and reversible method of contraception in men."
I no longer know what to believe. What to wear. What to eat. What to breathe. What to consume. What's good for me. What's bad for me. What is killing my health. I'm so confused and lost.
Yes please build that company ❤
Yes build a clothing line. 💞💞
Im azoospermic, had 4 tests done over the year each 1 0 sperm. Had genetic tests done, mri, ultrasounds, gave up caffeine, gave up milk. Take no tablets and am a personal trainer, tried clomid, no change in sperm production. They cant find a cause. I dont wear boxers, just shorts as underwear the whole time. I basically wear shorts 24 hours a day, heard about a study about polyester strips in egypt which made 14 men temporarily azoospermic. Checked my shorts, 100% polyester. Ive been doing this for about 4-5 years. 3 days now i have being doing commando. I honestly hope this is the cause. Im giving it 6 months and in that time will aim to only wear cotton underwear or clothes below.
Everything is bad for us. Major blackpill it’s so hard to escape these chemicals and stuff
Well we need to replace slowly ....doesn't mean we go extreme....the world is in imbalance due to greed (profit over health and environment)....
The last line of the abstract mentions static electricity as a possible cause. Next up: "Are laundry dryers bullshit? (Yes!)"
Hi want to buy cotton clothes and say 90 % cotton 10 % polyester is IK to wear? Love your idea of cotton clothes l will buy them
thank you for spreading the truth
Was checking ingredients on feminine products recently and noticed polyester in them. I hadn't seen this video yet, but not sticking polyester up your hoo-ha seems like a no-brainer. Wish I'd realized this years ago. Found some that claim to be 100% natural fibers.
Its crazy! We have to be so diligent. Its everywhere...! I have been trying to raise awareness through my channel, but its very lonely out there
I would totally buy from your clothing brand.
Can we get organic cotton? All has been adulterated with chemical...
I’m sold at the fact you made your clothes cotton but my fave artist calls out polyester for being poisonous and then sells polyester merch
And then the kale is bullshit most unhealthy marketed health product you got a sub
I’m in. Make it ! I wear all cotton .
If you want to protect yourself from polyester torn by springs in your mattress buy a waterproof 360 mattres protector (this will be plastic but also reduce a lot more plastic than will create and then put a cotton over sheet or two
Yes! make that company. Make some performance clothes please, like underwear. Compression underwear feel so great but are made of synthetic materials. It would be awesome if there were performance underwear made of natural materials.
Are there any studies on nylon?
I also went down this rabbit hole. Then discovered that there are numerous studies on children/infant clothing have high phthalate levels because cotton, while phthalate free, actually absorb MORE phthalates than synthetic fabrics. Because there are so many phthalates in the air, this can be a huge issue. Please investigate and let us know! Am I still safe wearing all cotton if washed frequently? Apparently frequent washing is essential with cotton.
Was there a control group of dogs wearing cotton underwear? If not then it is just due to wearing cloths.
Dude did you watch the video or follow along as Paul literally read the abstract out loud?
Cotton & Silk 100% is the best option
Organic cotton. However veggies are necessary...
I won't wear any of that kind of stuff, all mine has to be cotton or linen or other such materials but it's expensive and a pain in the ass to find that's
Don't know about that, but I find polyester clothing makes me feel unwell, drained of energy. I buy 100% cotton where I can. Looking for winter coats that don't use polyester.
Agree! The only solution we came up with is fur. You can find a lot of fur at vintage shops for bargain prices. It breathes, is warm and is sustainable because 2nd hand!
What about 60% cotton/40% polyester
Can you make shorts with EMF blockers, I would buy!
Would love to know if you have any info on other garments or fabrics like elastan, modal, viscose, polyamide and if these have similar effects on hormones or health in general like the one that poliester. Much Love, Brother, You Rock! Karsten
Yes they do. I read a book called Killer Clothing. These are synthetic or semi-synthetic. In general for these kind of fabrics, the chemicals used in the extraction process are terrible for you and the environment. I speak about all of this in my video: th-cam.com/video/_rqNNs-HZvI/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=ElizabethvanderBlank
@@Elizabethvanderblank Nice Elizabeth! Very cool! Looking at your Video right now! Great Job! Will look for this book.
@@IntegralEarthling Let me know what you think!
I agree with the idea for this company.
I hate that my skin is so sensitive to wool and linen 😭 but I do wear mostly cotton.
How come you say conception instead of fertilization? Conception was changed to mean implantation. Fertilization/creation began prior to conception/implantation. Ask any embryologists.
