Is it built or…? I had my tuner increase my stock LS3 rev limiter to 6800 RPM, and even then, I didn’t think it was necessary (stock limiter is at 6500, I think). I usually try to shift a bit after 6000, but by 6300, as torque and power falls off the high end by that point.
Yeah it has GPI's SS4 cam with supporting mods i.e. PAC .700 springs, trunnion bushings, hollow stem valves, ported heads, and a short runner aluminum intake manifold to name a few. It makes peak power at 7600 but holds its head up well to 8000 rpm. The stock manifold is done at 6500ish.
