How to get that rainbow oil spill color on silver.

Ever wonder how to get that cool rainbow toning on your silver? In this video, I'll show you the technique I use to get oil spill rainbow look on any piece of silver. This video also explains how to get a light golden color on silver.
After I'm done toning, I show how to remove the toning from the high spots on a coin ring. This step is not necessary. If you wear your coin ring regularly, then the toning on the high spots will wear off on their own. All the toning will eventually wear off, but after watching this you'll be able to do it yourself in your own home. I don't recommend doing it in your kitchen. Make sure you have a well ventilated area, wherever you do your antiquing.
Try playing around with different temperatures of water, more antiquing solution, less antiquing solution, time the silver spends in the liver of sulfur, etc. You will be able to get a multitude of unique looking colonization on your silver. This can be applied to all kinds of silver, and copper items; coin rings, coins, hand poured silver, .925 sterling silver, .999fs, four nines fine silver, copper rounds, etc.
If it's silver and/or copper, then you can tone it.
