Any system without pity belongs in the bottom. Also ain't no way gems is up there as it's one of the most prohibitive and expensive systems in the game. In terms of limiting build options and ease of build change for example. Like 200 USD for only 2 lvl. 9 gems lmao? Why is there suddenly a 10% damage difference between lvl. 9 and lvl. 10? Not to mention some classes need a lot more gems than others. Personally all of the other systems are nicer to interact with. And don't even get me started on having to put gems on alts.
the first Elixir guide i saw i said "fuck that shit" and quit the game.
Gems are a stupid system. Some classes requiring 7 lvl 10 damage gems to barely perform mid while others requiring 1-2 to perform really well. All p2w
The card system is devestating for new players.
THANK YOU for saying that about roster levels. I've been using the bible forever now and anyone who does use it knows its a fact that people with low roster level do a quarter of everyone else's damage. There's people on reddit trying to argue how roster level doesn't mean absolutely anything. You gotta be severely delusional to truly believe that someone who started playing the game 3 months ago will do equal or more damage than a 270 roster vet. Sure, there's a lot of horizontal enjoyers, but even those people needed over a year to get to that roster level, and simply by playing the game for so long you are that much better than someone who's seen inside of a raid 4 times and can't tell apart more than 3 boss's patterns. Experience in this game matters A LOT, even if you're average or below average in skill, just by playing for 2 and a half years you be hard gaping any newbie solely based on experience.
I don't have the bible but the skill gap at SA is so massive that I considered using it just for curiosity's sake. It boggles me how at thaemine normal g2(everyone 1610) there are 3 people who are cruel fighters while top 1 did 28%, meaning that the bottom 3 must be doing Z.
To fix LOS issue, all they have to do is just create LOS22 or LOS24, that'd help closing the gap.
But the card system is utter shit overall anyway, but removing it or making attaining the cards easier would make the others feel shit (I am at LOS18 btw)
I got LOS30 and KLC30, it would NOT make me feel like shit. Maybe KR players think otherwise and that's why they are hesitant.
I have los 30, if they just gave everyone LOS 30 I wouldn't be bothered at all
@sangheili333 Some players like you will understand that having LOS30 to everyone will only make the game better, as less people will be gatekept and can do proper damage. On the other hand, you can't dismiss the people that paid hundreds of dollars to get the LOS30, just to see it being handed out for free. It kinda sucks.
Easy fix for elixirs: Less gold per transmute and change from 35/40 set to 30/35 set instead. Give a practice mode for transmutation, I used the calculator because I didn't know how it worked, and there was no way to know unless I actually did it but then I would've wasted the gold AND the mats, so not using the calc was punishing
They gave you a bunch of free practice elixirs that don't cost gold, so I'm not sure what you mean? There's also a simulator on maxroll you can play with to learn the system (not the cutting calculator.)
@@JordanIdk Yeah they should've gave you something like that for transcendance, too, also the practice elixirs were nice but you couldn't apply them to gear

The whole game is a dam sham. Only reason why people still play it is because they spent so much time early on playing that they can't justify putting it down. Now the game introduced all the pay to win rng garbage and people are like dam I already sunk 2 or 3 thousand hours in the game do i really drop it now. And they stuck.
transcendence is nowhere near as annoying as "DO YOU LIKE IT?", u have a pity, can get what u want, even if it takes a good amount of gold. with elixirs nothing is guaranteed.

that was a lot disappointing coming from a vet like you.
1. lv10 gems are far worse than honing since theres the pity systems in honing + how do you get full lv10 gems without swiping : its more than 4millions gold... roster 6 its like 25millions gold = swipe/bussing or you cant. its basically a RMT system. fusing to cdr instead of dps is a big frustrating loss (many quit for this) considering the time spent to grind gems. did you ever try to change the skill on them ? it burns your shillings.
2. bracelet are such a scam people are running not even 10%dps ones where you can have up to 20%. if you want to have a good one, its just a scam. did you ever try to gamble them to say they're fine ? from all your gear which one you accept to have it very weak because its so expensive and rng ? +UI is bad
3. stone cutting is nothing if you dont try 9 7 (its not mandatory and gives only 4%) you neeed 65 which is nothing. this is one of the best system.
4. quality tap is boring and extremely random to a point you will never have the quality you want if you have bad rng. as an example, quality 100 is the most P2W thing in the game.
5. elixirs are the cheapest from all considering how much it gives to your char. its extremely gold efficient + UI is great
6. roster lv is very bad for new players, its a big gatekeeping process and you cant rush it. it gives nothing but gatekeeping. its bad.
1. You do not need full lv10 gems on any character. And you do not need to put any on alts. Also, at this point in the game, you most likely generated 5 times more gold than 4 million. If you were smart enough to invest that properly, you would have some level 10 gems. My main has full level 10 gems, but I have not invested anymore in alts since I brought my roster to 1580-1600. I poured everything on my main. 5 level 10 gems I crafted myself by just doing cubes (previously boss rushes) and chaos dungeons. As well as any content that gives gems.
2. Bracelet is a scam if you want a BiS one. However, if you have the proper stats and one additional good one, you are good to go. If you FOMO on bracelet, then you scam yourself. The cost of obtaining a BiS bracelet is so high, that you are better off investing that amount of gold in more reliable power generating vertical progression systems.
3. 9/7 stone is good to have, but nowhere near mandatory. 7/7 is good enough. A lot of classes do not have a 5x3+2 option. As an RS SF main, I can only go for Ether Predator 2. But is it worth it? No. The main difference between 5x3+1 and 5x3+2 is 2-3%. Is it worth the gold/pheon cost for 2-3% more damage? No.
4. On quality tap I agree with you. I think they should just rework this system and remove it as a gold sink. And you don't need 100 quality on anything. 90+ quality is perfectly fine.
5. Agree on Elixir, although I still don't like the system in general. The mini-game takes long, it sells you the illusion of being in control, when you actually are not, and it takes way too fucking long to unlock the good bonuses. I still have friends that like 6 months in and they still don't have 40 Elixir. The system needs to be toned down because unlike Bracelet or Stone, you do get gatekept if you don't have 40 Elixir at this point.

@@Kalimdor199Menegroth i think the point of any rpg is to reach bis gear. you want to max your progression. and it shouldnt force you to rmt. your argument is : just give up on best items even on your main, and just give up on having full gear on alts.
@@clementguitard6653 Well you can reach BiS gear even in Lost Ark. The question is, is it worth investing the required time and resources to reach BiS gear and is the reward worth it? For example, is it worth going for a 9/7 stone, despite the fact that the difference between 5x3+1 and 5x3+2 is 2-3% damage increase instead of focusing on upgrading your gems, which from lv9 to lv10 is 7% damage increase? Or focusing on Elixir, which 40 Elixir provide a 20% damage increase?
Is a 9/7 stone or a 15-16% damage increase Bracelet necessary to clear currently available content? No. All RPGs provide you the option to obtain BiS gear. But almost all of them make the journey to obtain that so time and resource consuming, that 99% of people won't pursue it and prefer to prioritize the things that provide a more reasonable and efficient way to increase power.
I never bothered pursuing BiS gear, especially not the type you mention here. As an RS SF, the only lv2 6th engraving I can have is Ether Predator 2. Which the power increase that it provides is small and few raids last long enough for you to get 30 stacks. 15-16% damage Bracelets are cancer to pursue. There are people who spend millions of gold and didn't get anything close to this. I prioritized good quality accessories, full lv10 gems, Elixir, honing, 90+ quality on gear, card sets, demon damage, etc.
On alts I didn't give a fuck. 5x3+1, blue-purple quality (purple if lucky only), lv7-9 gems, essential tripods. I left all my alts at 1580-1600 because I do not want to do Elixirs or Transcendence on them and spend more gold. Their purpose after all is to generate more gold and funnel to your main.
If you want to have full lv10 gems on alts, there is an easy way to do this. Play the same char times x. I have a 2nd RS SF, which shares the same gems as main.
@@Kalimdor199Menegroth yes so lts give up on 97 stone, bracelets, lv10 gems (even a busser cant afford full gems 10), bis elixir, max ilvl, max quality, etc. the game is P2W as hell. whats the point of reclear ? just to hone to next legion raid ? when you did all the legion raids one time, youve done with the content and you're farming just for nothing because you cant get the best out of it. no rpg is like this
