Chris Noto Largely filmed/photographed on an iPhone 7. I usually carry one or two spare cameras as backups but only use them if the iPhone fails.

What's the "GH" on the mainsail? Do they make a fiberglass version of the "Melonseed"? You have a nice boat, I like it a lot!

why did you go from the cabin boat, for sleeping way to get out of the rain. to a pure open boat? didn't see that tent you set up. does someone else carry the gear?

It proved to be too windy and rough a pitch the tent aboard the Melonseed so I camped ashore. I carried all of my own gear. The tent was stored in the forward compartment. I generally don’t like to repeat myself and I enjoy trying new boats so I gave the Melonseed a go in 2017. That said, I did return to my West Wight Potter in 2019. What happen to the Potter? Is Bandit not a good boat?

Bandit was a great boat. I went on to sail her in the 2018 Everglades Challenge (the ONLY Potter to ever complete the course).
Bandit also sailed the OBX130 again in 2019.
But at 30 yrs of age, I felt she deserved some rest. I sold her to a young family with kids for comfortable day sailing on Charleston Harbor.
